I’m now out of week 9 and halfway through week 10, but let’s go over what happened during week 9.
On the first day of my 9th week, I felt pretty decent and even managed to work out. Sadly, that was short-lived and on Saturday night I started to feel pretty horrific and spend another night on the sofa trying to stop myself throwing up. Sunday was an awful day and I spent it mostly in bed.
Monday and Tuesday were a bit of blur of feeling like crap and Wednesday was probably one of the worst days. It was constant intense nausea all day and my face was so hot I needed an icepack. I had a bit of work to do and struggled so much and also fell asleep on a Teams call, thankfully my camera and microphone was off. I was very fed up after weeks of this. I am eating so much because as soon as I get hungry I feel worse, but what I can eat is limited because so many things put me off.
We ordered pizza on one of the days and I felt pretty good after it. Pizza is just easy to eat, doesn’t smell and is filling. It keeps me full for ages so when I’ve eaten I’m not worried about needing to find something else in an hour. I’ve been sleeping about 5 hours a night, mostly because I’m afraid to sleep longer and wake up hungry and sick, I dose during the day but don’t really sleep. It’s frustrating feeling tired but being forcing myself to stay awake so I can snack at like 1am.
I’ve had really bad issues with bloating, as you can see above. I look pregnant when actually it’s just bloat. I had no idea this was such a common symptom. It’s painful and uncomfortable but not as bad as morning sickness! The size of my stomach varies a lot. I just want to have a bit of a bump know for reassurance that my belly is actually growing!
Nothing else major this week. Just a slave to the morning sickness like normal. No more bleeding which is FANTASTIC.
