Hello strangers,
It’s been ages since I’ve done a Floriday post! I still have some days left to share so I thought I better get on with it before I lose all my memories. Weh.
So, this post about the 13th day will be split into two. Like the Magic Kingdom post, we stayed until the evening so we could watch some fireworks
As we had already spent a day in each park on our previous 4 days at Disney World, we wanted to finish off the things we didn’t get to do and spend more time at the Magic Kingdom.
We first went to the Animal Kingdom, where we went on the Kilmanjaro Safari.
Kilmanjaro Safari.
It was such a fun experience, but we did have to queue for about 45 minutes, which isn’t the longest queues out there but it was long enough. I was feeling a bit sick too so was not having a great time stood in line.
We got into a big open air vehicle while we were driven around the safari park, the assistant was telling us all about the animals and where to look as she was driving. We got to see loads of animals and even some massive ostrich eggs!
We then went over to the Magic Kingdom where we went on the rides we didn’t go on our last visit.
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin.
This is a fun shooting ride, you go around in the cart and shoot targets. It was a bit unfair because Caroline kept spinning the cart so I could not shoot them properly. She was sabotaging me. Bad friend. It was brightly coloured inside, lot’s of neon and was a fun ride. Kids would love it.
It’s a Small World.
I had to go on this, creepy creepy boat ride going through scenes of creepy figures singing along. A classic ride!
The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh.
This was rubbish. I’m not really a Winnie The Pooh fan. You sat in a giant honey pot and took a tour and was emmersed in Winnie The Pooh stories.
Peter Pans Flight.
This is a slow ride where you go on board a pirate ship and take a flight across London into Neverland. It’s a cute ride, not scary at although it is dark.
Space Mountain.
I was absolutely shitting myself. I think we all were. Space mounting is an iconic Disney ride. I remember going on the one at Disneyland Paris when I was 13. I remember it went upside down and was so scary! We were all scared of this one, but it wasn’t scary at all. It didn’t go upside down or anything. It was just dark and a bit rickety in parts! It’s an old ride, I guess, so not as scary as expected. Phew.
After we had done the rides, we went over to Epcot as that was where we were watching the fireworks there at 9pm. We had a bit of time so went on a ride that we hadn’t got around to the last time we went to Epcot.
Maelstrom
This was a fun boat ride, there were a few drops in places and a risk of getting wet, but not as bad as the rapids! You were taken around Scandinavian seas. It was a fun ride. At the end, you could watch a video about the history of Norway but we skipped that and went to lunch instead! Too cool for skool, you see.
We then ate, watched a beautiful sunset and watched the fireworks, which is what the next post will be about!
Hahahaah, I enjoyed very much ” It´s a small word” in Disneyland Paris, It was funny not creepy. Kisses:)
I didn’t go to the Paris one, I wonder if it’s much different!
Ohhh I loved reading this post! I’ve always wanted to go to Disney World or Disneyland or BOTH hahahaha!! But I have never had that chance. So sad that some rides weren’t worth it though x
Magic Kingdom is mainly for kids though, the other parks have better rides!
Haha yes it has been a while since you did a post on Disneyworld! I’m sure it was incredible! How I wish I could go there

I’ve had some seriously intense nightmares about It’s a small world! Trapped in the ride, dolls coming to life, teeny tiny axes in their hands that they chase me around with….creeeeeepy!
Lovely pictures as always, gahhhh I miss this place SO much!
Sarah 🙂
Saloca in Wonderland
oh wow, that is creepy. Bet you can’t wait to go again!
This is so rad! I grew up in Southern California so I used to go to Disneyland all the time. Over there we have Sleeping Beauty’s castle instead of Cinderella’s castle!
Let me know if you ever come up to NYC!

Haha, it was scary in the queue but wasn’t bad at all!
It looks like you had an amazing time. I’m so jealous. I went to Disney when I was little and always remember the creepy ” it’s a small world ” song. 🙂
Hey hey! I love Disney! Although I live in Florida, I’m ashamed to say that it’s been ages since I’ve been! Wahhh…. And you’ve inspired me to work on my WordPress more! I’ve got a blogger account. Now onto WordPress! Guess I need more excitement in my life! Haha…love all your pictures! Looks like you had a good time!
I would be there ALL the time if I lived in Florida. Annual pass, hello!
Oh thank god Space Mountain doesn’t go upside down. I’m off to Florida in November and I promised my sister I’d go on it with her. I’m not too good at the whole upside down thing so that’s a relief.
Haha, it’s not scary at all! Just dark.
It’s too bad the seven dwarf’s mines weren’t open when you went! When I went back in December, it was still under construction, but it looked so cool!
They were doing test runs when I was there, but it was a few days before the official opening!
Fun! We love Disney. We’re going back in March.
I’ve been wanting to go on Space Mountain but I’m such a chicken I was afraid it was going to go upside down… SO happy it doesn’t!! Definitely getting on next time I go to Disney! 🙂
