Do you want to build a snowman?

This is all I am going to be saying today so I hope you are glad you are not spending the day with me. I’m going to be as annoying as fuck. I can’t wait. Woo.

It’s fancy dress at work with a Disney theme. I took a chance on bought a Frozen costume from eBay. Allllll the way from China. It could have been terrible. You know how those Chinese costumes/clothes work – either way too big or way too small.

This isn’t the best costume in the world, but it fits me and looks better than expected!

Anna Hair and Makeup

I put white hairspray in my hair to replicate the ‘kissed by a troll’ look.

Perruques Full Lace Wigs

As for the makeup, I kept it pretty neutral as she doesn’t have as dramatic makeup as Elsa.

For the face I used Benefit porefessional, then applied Rimmel’s match perfection foundation with my Bodyshop foundation brush. I then applied the mineral radiance powder from Boujois with my powder brush from Wilkinsons.

I filled my brows in the MUA’s ultimate eyebrow kit, using a light shade as Anna has quite light brows. My eyebrows are shit. Don’t look at them.

For the eyes, I used Makeup Rev’s eye primer and took the shade dust out of my Naked 3 palette as the main colour, then used mugshot and darkside on my crease. I then used my Essence eyeliner to line my lids, I did it a bit thicker than I usually would. I then applied a white liner from Dolce & Gabbana to my waterline. I then used darkside again half way under my waterline to give a bit more definition.

I primed my lashes with Urban Decay’s Subversion, then used their mascara Perversion and applied about 3 coats to both the top and bottom lashes.

I used my So Susan blush and highlighted with Mac’s talk of the town mineralize blush.

For my lips, I used my bellapierre lipstick in cat walk and put my 3D effect lipgloss from Boujois on the top in 05. I’m not usually a fan of gloss, but it seemed fitting for a Disney Princess!

Which Disney Princess would you most like to be?

  1. Ahh you look so cute! I wish I had a reason to dress up like a princess! I would probably wanna dress up as Ariel, except she doesn’t wear much and it’s winter, so I’d go with Elsa! xo

  2. This is such a cute outfit and you portrayed Anna from Frozen so well. Love the hair! too 🙂 Now, let’s go and build a snowman! x

  3. You did a really great job with the look! The outfit actually looks pretty good, not bad for something from China. LOL! I think I would try to rock Pocahontas, I have the right skin tone and hair colour for it. 😀

  4. Superb. What did others dress up as? This look I bet got lots of attentiom from customers the kids would love it. I would sing all day if I had this on

  5. You’re so lucky to have ordered a costume from abroad and for it to look so good on you – that must have been a relief! The white hairspray was a fun touch, as well 🙂

  6. TOO cute! Love the costume, and considering it was an e-bay magical mystery it looks fantastic! I wish we could have had Disney dress up at work! I think I’d have gone for Anna or Belle, being a brunette makes them easier – and who wouldn’t want to wear Bells big gold dress??

    Sarah 🙂
    Saloca in Wonderland

  7. That is such a fun look! 🙂

Glad the costume worked out! My sister always has great luck finding things on ebay from china, I don’t know how she does it! I have enough trouble with parcels when I buy from safe well known stores sometimes, haha!

Hope you had a fun dress up day at work! 🙂
