Quick verdict: After six years of using Purdy & Figg in my home, I can honestly say they’ve become my go-to for everyday cleaning. Their natural cleaning sprays smell incredible (think spa, not swimming pool), and the refillable glass bottles have saved us from binning countless plastic bottles. At around £5 per concentrate that makes 200ml of cleaner, they’re not the cheapest option, but for maintenance cleaning and keeping the house smelling lovely, they’re my favourite. About Purdy & Figg
We have been using Purdy & Figg products in our home for over six years now — longer than most Purdy and Figg reviews you’ll find online. I’m always on the lookout for eco-friendly cleaning products that are both effective and sustainable. Purdy & Figg tick all the boxes there! They are committed to using clean ingredients and sustainable practices. If you’re wondering ‘is Purdy and Figg non toxic?’, the answer is yes – their products are completely free from harsh chemicals and toxins, making them safe for your home and family. Bonus – they smell delicious.
I’ve tried many of the Purdy & Figg scents, as you can see from the photos in this post! I’ve worked with them over on Instagram many times, but realised I’ve never written a proper Purdy & Figg review. So here I am! Let’s find out if Purdy and Figg is worth it.
Purdy & Figg is a brand that sells high-quality cleaning spray. Believe me when they say they do not compromise on quality for the sake of sustainability. They understand the importance of using clean ingredients, which is why their products are made with natural essential oils and are free from toxic additives.
What I love about Purdy & Figg is their commitment to sustainability and how they effectively incorporate it into their brand. They use glass recyclable bottles for their cleaning products, reducing plastic waste and promoting a more eco-friendly approach to cleaning. The products are sent in cardboard, so they can be recycled straight away.
The idea of Purdy & Figg started in 2018 when NHS nurse Purdy Rubin and horticulturalist Charlotte Figg had had enough of toxic cleaning products packaged in plastic. They began experimenting with creating environmentally friendly cleaning products in their garage. That’s how Counter Clean was born – their first product, which launched in 2022. The product was designed to clean all surfaces of the home and leave behind a spa-like scent.
Latest News (2026): Purdy & Figg has grown into a £50 million business and recently launched a stunning collaboration with William Morris At Home. The brand now ships to millions of homes across the UK and has expanded internationally. Their subscription service has over 21,600 Trustpilot reviews and they’re regularly featured in major publications like Ideal Home and The Times.
William Morris Collaboration (2026)
Just launched in early 2026!*
Purdy & Figg has teamed up with iconic British design house William Morris At Home to create the “Love Your Home Collection” – a limited edition range that combines Purdy & Figg’s natural cleaning formulas with William Morris’ stunning botanical prints.
The collection includes:
- Three signature scents in collectable William Morris bottles
- Beautiful packaging featuring classic Morris designs
- Priced at under £20 for the starter kit
- Limited edition, so likely to sell out quickly
This is Purdy & Figg’s first major design collaboration and shows how far they’ve come from that garage startup. The William Morris bottles are absolutely gorgeous – I’ve already got my eye on the collection for my kitchen counter!
According to Ideal Home magazine, this collaboration “transforms housework from a boring chore to an effortless joy” and the collection is predicted to sell fast. If you’re a William Morris fan or just love beautiful cleaning products, this is worth checking out on the Purdy and Figg website.

Purdy & Figg’s £50 Million Success Story
Here’s something that blew my mind when I read it: Purdy & Figg hit £40 million in revenue by mid-2025 — and by early 2026, reports put the business closer to £50 million.
According to a December 2025 case study by InternetRetailing, the brand’s success comes down to their subscription model. They were onboarding up to 9,000 new customers a month at their peak, with nearly half opting for the subscription service. That’s a lot of people who love their products enough to commit long-term!
What I find really impressive is that they’ve achieved this growth without massive venture capital investment – just a modest £2 million angel round in 2022. Most of their success has come from word-of-mouth, social media, and genuinely good products that people want to re-order.
The brand now has over 268,000 Instagram followers and more than 21,600 Trustpilot reviews (as of August 2026), making them one of the UK’s most successful direct-to-consumer cleaning brands.
Why does this matter for you? It shows Purdy & Figg isn’t going anywhere. You’re not investing in some flash-in-the-pan brand that might disappear – they’re a legitimate, growing company that’s here to stay.
Purdy & Figg vs Other Natural Cleaners: How Do They Compare?
I’ve tried quite a few natural cleaning brands over the years, so I thought it would be helpful to explain where Purdy & Figg sits in the market. The main alternatives people ask me about are Method, Ecover, and brands like Ocean Saver.
The biggest difference with Purdy & Figg is the scent experience. Method and Ecover smell pleasant enough, but Purdy & Figg genuinely smells like you’ve just cleaned with luxury products from a spa. The essential oil blends are sophisticated – not that artificial “fresh linen” smell you get from supermarket cleaners.
Price-wise, Purdy & Figg is definitely at the premium end. A 20ml concentrate costs around £5 and makes 200ml of cleaning spray. Method refills are cheaper, and Ocean Saver pods are more budget-friendly too. However, the glass bottles from Purdy & Figg feel more premium and last for years, whereas I found Method bottles didn’t hold up as well long-term.
In terms of cleaning power, they’re all pretty similar for everyday maintenance cleaning. None of them are heavy-duty cleaners designed for burnt-on grime or serious limescale, but for daily wiping down of surfaces, they all do the job. Where Purdy & Figg wins for me is that I actually enjoy using it, which means I clean more regularly.
Purdy & Figg Pricing and Value in 2026
Current Pricing (July 2026):
- Oh! de Loo toilet deodoriser: £13.56 for a Subscription every 3 months
- Counter Clean Starter Kit: £43 (includes bottle for life, 3 concentrates, microfibre cloth, and funnel) – often on offer for £15
- William Morris Collaboration Starter Kit: Under £20 (limited edition, check website for availability)
- Individual concentrates: Around £5 each (20ml makes 200ml of cleaner)
- Subscription: Save 50% on starter kits, receive refills every 90 days
- Bathroom Bliss Kit: Similar pricing to Counter Clean
- Complete Plan: £102.95 for 3 Counter Clean, 3 Bathroom Bliss, Two Bottles + Oh! de Loo. often on offer.
They often have starter kids on offer for £15 instead of £43!
Is it expensive? Yes, compared to supermarket cleaners. But here’s how I look at it: one concentrate makes a full 200ml bottle of cleaner. I get about 3-4 weeks from one bottle with regular use (wiping kitchen surfaces daily, cleaning bathrooms a few times a week). That works out to roughly £1.25 per week for a cleaner that smells amazing and doesn’t contain harsh chemicals.
The subscription is genuinely useful if you want to stick with them. The 50% discount on the starter kit makes it much more affordable to try, and you can pause or cancel anytime without faff. I’ve paused mine when I’ve had too much stock built up, and it’s genuinely straightforward – no phone calls or jumping through hoops.
For comparison, a bottle of Method or Ecover cleaner costs £3-4 and is ready-mixed at 500ml. So Purdy & Figg is definitely more expensive per ml, but the concentrated formula means less packaging waste, and honestly, the scent makes it feel worth the extra cost to me.

The Purdy & Figg Product Range
Purdy & Figg currently offers five products. These products are designed to be used in multiple ways, they are versatile and great for everyday cleaning tasks.
Purdy & Figg Counter Clean Multi-Surface Cleaner
Purdy & Figg’s first product is their Counter Clean Multi-Surface Cleaner. This eco-concentrate cleaner comes in glass bottles and is designed to be mixed with water for immediate use. The Counter Clean Starter Kit includes a bottle for life, three concentrated cleaner bottles in different essential oil mixes, and a microfibre cloth.
I love how versatile the counter cleaner is. It can be used on all your kitchen surfaces, including countertops, glass, stainless steel, and more. The essential oil blends smell lovely and also contribute to the cleaning power of the solution. The Counter Clean Multi-Surface Cleaner effectively tackles day-to-day dirt without leaving streaks (once you get the technique right – more on that later), making it an easy choice for everyday cleaning tasks.
It’s available in many scents. Purdy & Figg have a core range of three signature scents available year-round, plus limited edition seasonal ones that change each quarter. The three signature scents (always available):
- Uplifting Citrus — sweet orange, grapefruit and niaouli, fresh and head-clearing
- Grounding Vetiver — orange and coriander with vetiver, warm and earthy
- Balancing Floral — lemon, geranium and vetiver, like a garden in bloom
My personal favourite is still Grounding Vetiver — warm, earthy, and it makes the whole house smell like an expensive spa. Uplifting Citrus is brilliant for kitchens. The seasonal limited editions change each quarter and are only available while stock lasts.
As of August 2026, the autumn collection is landing soon — Juniper & Cardamom and Lavender & Chamomile are returning as limited edition autumn blends, with a waitlist open on the Purdy & Figg website for early access. Worth signing up if either of those appeal, as they do tend to sell out fast.

Purdy & Figg Bathroom Bliss Starter Kit
Cleaning the bathroom is often a challenging task, but with Purdy and Figg’s Bathroom Bliss Starter Kit, it becomes a breeze. This kit includes a powerful bathroom cleaner that is gentle on surfaces and tough on grime. Made with natural ingredients and essential oils, it cleans effectively and leaves a refreshing scent behind.
The Bathroom Bliss Starter Kit is designed to make your cleaning routine more enjoyable. It comes with a bottle for life, a bathroom blend concentrate, a microfibre cloth, and a handy funnel for easy mixing. With this kit, you can say goodbye to harsh chemicals and hello to a cleaner and fresher bathroom.
I’ll be honest – whilst this works well for regular bathroom maintenance, I still use a proper limescale remover for the shower screen and taps when needed. The Bathroom Bliss is brilliant for keeping things fresh between deep cleans, but it’s not going to shift serious limescale on its own.
Oh! de Loo
Oh! de Loo is a Lime & Lemongrass deodoriser that contains 100% essential oils to leave your bathroom smelling lovely. Just pop some in your toilet after flushing or in your basin for a lovely-smelling bathroom. It’s free from toxins and it’s biodegradable!
Hand & Body Wash
With its gentle and natural formula, Purdy & Figg’s hand & body wash is an environmentally friendly way to wash your hands and body. It’s got essential oils, moisturising agents and vitamin E to keep your skin lovely and soft.
Floor Clean (New for 2026)
Purdy & Figg have just added a fifth product to the range: Floor Clean, a concentrated floor cleaner for hardwood, tile and grout, stone and slate, and marble. The starter kit comes with three concentrates (Patchouli & Cedarwood, Vetiver & Coriander Seed, and Geranium & Lemon), a measuring scoop, and works out at £19.95 for the starter kit (usually £32.95). You mix 10ml with 5 litres of warm water in your bucket and mop as normal. I haven’t tried this one myself yet, so I can’t give you the proper verdict the rest of this review promises, but I’ll come back and update this section once I’ve put it through its paces on my own floors. If you’ve already given it a go, let me know in the comments how you’re getting on with it.

How to Purchase Purdy & Figg Products
Purdy & Figg products can be purchased directly from their website. They’re also available on Amazon now, which makes it easier if you prefer shopping there.
If you choose the subscription option, you can get a 50% discount on the starter kits and have the flexibility to adjust the frequency of your subscription or cancel at any time. This means you don’t need to worry about running out, and it also reduces waste by using refillable glass bottles.
I started with a one-off purchase to try them out, then switched to the subscription when I knew I wanted to keep using them. The subscription sends refills every 90 days, which works perfectly for our household. You can easily pause deliveries or skip them if you’ve got enough stock.
One other thing worth knowing: if the trigger spray on your bottle stops working, drop them an email — recent customers on Trustpilot report that they’ll send a replacement nozzle out for free without any fuss.
Purdy And Figg Ingredients
Purdy & Figg contains all-natural ingredients, so you don’t have to worry about any nasty chemicals.
The Core Ingredients
Purdy & Figg products are concentrated formulations that you dilute with water. Each 20ml concentrate is designed to be mixed with 200ml of water in your spray bottle.
What Makes Each Scent Different
The essential oil blends are what give each variety its distinctive character. Here’s what you need to know about the oils they use:
Geranium & Ylang Ylang – These oils aren’t just for fragrance. Geranium has natural antibacterial properties, whilst ylang ylang is known for being uplifting. This blend works particularly well in kitchens.
Uplifting Citrus – Contains citrus oils which are naturally degreasing, making them excellent for kitchen surfaces. The citrus oils also have antimicrobial properties.
Lavender & Chamomile – Both of these oils are calming and gentle, making this blend perfect for bedrooms and living spaces. Lavender also has natural antibacterial qualities.
What’s NOT in Purdy & Figg Products
This is just as important as what IS included:
- No synthetic fragrances or parfum
- No phthalates
- No parabens
- No sulphates
- No artificial colourants
- No harsh chemicals like bleach or ammonia
- No petrochemicals
- No palm oil
All ingredients are biodegradable and the formulations are vegan-friendly.
Is Purdy and Figg Non Toxic? Safety Around Children and Pets
The natural ingredient list means these products are much safer than conventional cleaners. However, as with any cleaning product:
- Keep concentrated formulas out of reach of children
- Once diluted, they’re safe to use on surfaces that children and pets touch
- The essential oils are at safe concentrations when properly diluted
- Always ensure surfaces are dry before pets walk on them (as you would with any cleaner)
I use them throughout our house and have never had any issues with our cats. Just use common sense – don’t let pets lick the spray or drink from the bottle, and store the concentrates safely.
Understanding the Concentration
One thing that surprised me initially was how diluted the mixture is – 20ml concentrate to 200ml water. Some people worry this won’t clean effectively, but I’ve found it works well for everyday cleaning. The key is:
- Use the correct ratio
- Give the product a moment to work on stubborn marks
- Use a good quality microfibre cloth
- For heavily soiled areas, you might need to spray twice or wipe more thoroughly
Do Essential Oil Cleaners Actually Clean?
This is a question I see asked frequently. The answer is yes, but it’s important to understand how they work. The cleaning power comes from the plant-based surfactants, not just the essential oils. The surfactants break down dirt and grease, whilst the essential oils provide additional antibacterial properties and, of course, that lovely scent.
That said, these are designed for regular maintenance cleaning rather than heavy-duty scrubbing. For burnt-on grime or limescale, you’d still want a more targeted product.
A Note on Smearing
I’ve seen some reviews mention smearing on shiny surfaces. In my experience, this happens when:
- Too much product is used
- The surface isn’t buffed dry with a clean cloth
- The microfibre cloth is dirty or too wet
My tip: Use a light spray, wipe with a damp microfibre cloth, then buff dry with a separate dry cloth for streak-free results on glass and shiny surfaces. Once I learned this technique, I stopped getting any smearing issues.

What Are Purdy & Figg Products Best For?
After six years of use, here’s what I think they’re brilliant for:
Everyday maintenance cleaning – Wiping down kitchen worktops after cooking, giving the bathroom sink a quick clean, doing a weekly clean of surfaces. This is where they really shine.
Making your home smell amazing – If you care about how your house smells, these are fantastic. The scent lingers for a few hours after cleaning, and it’s a natural, sophisticated smell rather than artificial “fresh linen”.
Reducing plastic waste – The glass bottles genuinely do last for years. We’re still using the original bottles from when we started, and that’s a lot of plastic bottles we haven’t binned.
Gifts – The starter kits look really lovely and make great housewarming gifts or presents for people who care about eco-friendly products.
What they’re NOT best for: Heavy-duty cleaning, shifting limescale, dealing with burnt-on food, or disinfecting when someone’s been ill. For those jobs, I still use more targeted products.
My Experience: How Long Does One Bottle Actually Last?
This is one of the most common questions I get asked. One 20ml concentrate makes 200ml of cleaning spray. In our house (two adults, regular cleaning), one bottle lasts me about 3-4 weeks. I use it for:
- Wiping kitchen worktops daily
- Cleaning the bathroom sink and surfaces 2-3 times a week
- Quick wipe-downs of other surfaces as needed
If you’re a really thorough cleaner or have a large house, you might go through them faster. Some people say they get through a bottle in a week, which would make them very expensive. I think it depends on how much you spray – a light mist is all you need, not soaking the surfaces.

Clever Cleaning: Purdy & Figg’s New Book
In September 2025, Purdy Rubin and Charlotte Figg released their first book, “Clever Cleaning: The natural way to clean everything”. I was fortunate enough to receive a copy, and it’s become a genuinely useful addition to my cleaning routine.
What the Book Covers
The book expands on Purdy and Charlotte’s philosophy of natural cleaning, going well beyond their product range. It includes:
- Easy-to-follow recipes for making your own natural cleaning products at home
- Guidance on which natural ingredients work best for different cleaning tasks
- Tips on creating a sustainable cleaning routine
- Advice on reducing waste in your cleaning cupboard
- How to tackle specific cleaning challenges using natural methods
- Information about why natural ingredients are better for your home and the environment
My Experience Using the Book
What I appreciate most about “Clever Cleaning” is that it’s practical rather than preachy. Purdy and Charlotte acknowledge that switching to completely natural cleaning takes time, and they offer realistic advice for making gradual changes.
I’ve tried several of the recipes, and they work brilliantly. The book explains the science behind why certain ingredients work for specific tasks, which I found really helpful. For instance, understanding why bicarbonate of soda is excellent for scrubbing but vinegar is better for descaling means I can tackle cleaning problems more effectively.
How It Complements Purdy & Figg Products
The book isn’t just a sales pitch for their products – in fact, it teaches you how to make similar products yourself if you prefer. This transparency is refreshing. You can see that Purdy and Charlotte genuinely want to help people move towards natural cleaning, whether that’s through buying their ready-made products or creating DIY alternatives.
For me, I use a combination approach. I keep Purdy & Figg products for everyday convenience, but I’ve also started making some of the recipes from the book for specific tasks, particularly their bathroom descaler and their wood polish.

Who Would Benefit from This Book?
“Clever Cleaning” is perfect if you:
- Want to reduce chemicals in your home but don’t know where to start
- Are interested in making your own cleaning products
- Like to understand the “why” behind cleaning methods
- Are looking to save money on cleaning products long-term
- Want to reduce plastic packaging in your cleaning cupboard
- Are curious about natural cleaning but sceptical about whether it actually works
Where to Purchase
The book is available from major retailers including Amazon and Waterstones, as well as from the Purdy & Figg website. It’s a hardback edition with beautiful photography, making it both useful and lovely to have on your shelf.

The Purdy and Figg William Morris Collaboration
Purdy and Figg have partnered with William Morris at Home to create the stunning Love Your Home Collection. This collaboration feels like a natural fit – both brands share a commitment to beauty, craftsmanship and sustainability. The Purdy and Figg William Morris range includes their first ever collectors edition Bottle For Life, decorated with heritage William Morris prints that transform your cleaning routine into something genuinely special. The collection features scents inspired by the home and gardens of William Morris himself, including Rose & Violet, Patchouli & Cedarwood, and a new fragrance called Bay and Berry (inspired by the greenery of Kelmscott Manor). I’ve been lucky enough to work with both brands separately – you can read about my experience with William Morris at Home here – and seeing them come together feels like two of my favourite things combining. The bottles are absolutely gorgeous on display, and if you love William Morris prints as much as I do, having them on your kitchen worktop rather than hidden in a cupboard is a dream.
Purdy & Figg: The Honest Verdict After Six Years
After using Purdy & Figg for over six years, I can give you a genuinely honest assessment.
What I Love
- The scent – This is what keeps me coming back. The house smells like a spa rather than a swimming pool. When guests visit, they always comment on how lovely everything smells.
- The sustainability – The glass bottles have lasted brilliantly. We’re still using the original spray bottles from years ago, and I love that we’re not throwing away plastic bottles every month. They’ve also introduced a bottle recycling credit, so when your concentrates are done you can send the empties back and get money off your next order. Proper circular, that.
- Everyday effectiveness – For regular maintenance cleaning, they work perfectly. Wiping down kitchen surfaces after cooking, freshening up the bathroom between deep cleans, giving mirrors a quick spritz – these are where Purdy & Figg excels.
- The aesthetic – I know this sounds shallow, but having attractive bottles on display makes me more likely to clean regularly. They look intentional rather than like I’ve forgotten to put the cleaning products away.
What to Be Realistic About
- They’re not miracle workers – For heavy-duty cleaning, burnt-on food, or serious limescale, you’ll need something stronger. These are maintenance cleaners, not heavy-duty solutions.
- The price point – They are more expensive than conventional cleaners. However, when you calculate the cost per use, it’s more reasonable than it initially appears. That said, if budget is tight, the recipes in their book could help you make similar products more economically.
- Learning curve with shiny surfaces – It took me a while to perfect the technique for streak-free results on windows and mirrors. Use less product than you think you need, and always buff dry.
- Scent doesn’t linger for hours – If you’re hoping for a long-lasting fragrance, you might be disappointed. The scent is lovely whilst cleaning and for perhaps 30 minutes afterwards, but it doesn’t hang around all day. Personally, I prefer this to overpowering artificial fragrances, but it’s worth knowing.
- Watch your emails if you’re on subscription— a few recent Trustpilot reviews mention that dispatch notification emails can look like marketing emails, making them easy to miss. If you’re on a subscription, it’s worth keeping an eye out so you can skip or postpone if needed. Their customer service is responsive if anything does go wrong.
Is Purdy and Figg Worth It?
For me, absolutely yes – but with caveats. If you value:
- Natural ingredients
- Reduced plastic waste
- Pleasant, non-chemical scents
- Supporting a small British business
- Products that look good in your home
Then Purdy & Figg is worth trying, especially with a subscription discount on the starter kit.
However, if you need industrial-strength cleaning power or are on a very tight budget, you might be better served by either conventional cleaners or the DIY recipes in their book.
My recommendation? Try a starter kit on subscription. If you love it as much as I do, brilliant. If not, you’ll still have the glass bottle to reuse with other products. Cancellation is done through your online account — I’ve not had any issues myself, though a small number of recent Trustpilot reviews suggest it’s worth double-checking your account afterwards to make sure it’s gone through.
2026 Update:*With Purdy & Figg now a £50 million business serving millions of homes and launching collaborations with brands like William Morris, it’s clear the market has spoken – these products are worth it for many people. The fact that they’re thriving in a competitive market shows they’re delivering something people genuinely value.
Frequently Asked Questions About Purdy & Figg
How do I cancel my Purdy and Figg subscription?
You can cancel your Purdy and Figg subscription in your online account — log in and follow the steps to cancel. Worth checking back into your account a day or two later to confirm it’s gone through, as a small number of recent Trustpilot reviews mention delays. Their customer service team is responsive if you run into any issues.
Is Purdy and Figg non toxic?
Yes, Purdy and Figg products are completely non-toxic. They contain no harsh chemicals, synthetic fragrances, parabens, sulphates, phthalates, or other toxins found in conventional cleaners. All ingredients are plant-based and biodegradable, making them safe to use around children, pets, and anyone with sensitivities to harsh chemicals. The products are formulated with natural essential oils and plant-based surfactants that clean effectively without the need for toxic additives.
How long does one bottle of Purdy & Figg cleaner last?
In my experience, one 20ml concentrate (which makes 200ml of cleaning spray) lasts about 3-4 weeks with regular use. This includes daily kitchen surface cleaning and bathroom cleaning 2-3 times a week. Some people report going through bottles faster if they use a lot of spray or have a larger home to clean. The key is using a light mist rather than soaking surfaces.
Does Purdy & Figg really clean, or is it just nice-smelling water?
They do actually clean! The cleaning power comes from plant-based surfactants that break down dirt and grease. The essential oils provide additional antibacterial properties. However, they’re designed for regular maintenance cleaning rather than heavy-duty scrubbing. For everyday wiping down of surfaces, they work brilliantly. For burnt-on grime, serious limescale, or disinfecting when someone’s ill, you’d want a more targeted product.
How does Purdy & Figg compare to Method or Ecover?
The main difference is scent and price. Purdy & Figg smells more sophisticated and spa-like, whilst Method and Ecover have more conventional “clean” scents. Purdy & Figg is more expensive (around £5 per concentrate vs £3-4 for a ready-mixed bottle of Method). The cleaning power is similar for everyday tasks. Purdy & Figg’s glass bottles feel more premium and last longer than Method’s plastic bottles in my experience.
Why does Purdy & Figg smear on my windows and mirrors?
This usually happens when too much product is used, or when surfaces aren’t buffed dry. My tip: use a very light spray, wipe with a slightly damp microfibre cloth, then buff dry with a separate clean, dry cloth. Once I learned this technique, I stopped getting smearing issues. Also make sure your microfibre cloths are clean – dirty cloths can cause streaks.
Are Purdy & Figg products safe for pets?
Yes, once diluted they’re safe to use on surfaces that pets touch. The essential oils are at safe concentrations when properly mixed. However, keep the concentrated formulas out of reach, don’t let pets lick the spray, and ensure surfaces are dry before pets walk on them. Birds are particularly sensitive to airborne substances, so take them out of the room whilst cleaning.
Can I make my own version of Purdy & Figg?
Yes, and their book “Clever Cleaning” actually includes recipes for DIY natural cleaners. Many people make their own using water, white vinegar, bicarbonate of soda, and essential oils. It’s much cheaper this way, though the Purdy & Figg products are more convenient and the scent blends are expertly formulated.
What’s the best Purdy & Figg scent?
This is totally personal! My favourite is Grounding Vetiver for its warm, spa-like scent. Uplifting Citrus is brilliant for kitchens. Lavender & Chamomile is lovely for bedrooms. I’d recommend trying the starter kit with mixed scents first to see what you prefer, then order your favourites as refills.
What’s the new William Morris collaboration?
In early 2026, Purdy and Figg partnered with William Morris At Home to create a limited edition “Love Your Home Collection” featuring three scents in beautifully designed bottles with classic Morris botanical prints. The starter kit is priced under £20 and includes everything you need to get started. It’s a limited edition, so if you love William Morris designs, grab it while you can!
How big is Purdy & Figg now?
Purdy & Figg has grown from a garage startup to a £50 million business. As of 2026. They now serve millions of homes across the UK, have over 268,000 Instagram followers, and more than 21,600 Trustpilot reviews. They’re one of the UK’s most successful eco-cleaning brands!
