Yes, 100%. The lubricating strip contains no animal products (shea butter, aloe, vitamin E – all plant-based), and no animal testing has been done. Many razors aren’t vegan because their lubricating strips contain animal-derived ingredients.

7. What’s the difference between Estrid body and face razors?

Estrid now offers two blade types:

• Body blades: Optimised for legs, underarms, bikini line
• Face blades: Same five-blade technology but optimised for facial hair
• Precision razor: Single-blade dermaplaning razor for facial hair and exfoliation

Both use the same handle.

8. Does the wall holder really fall off?

Yes, this is a widespread issue mentioned in numerous Estrid reviews. The adhesive doesn’t cope well with bathroom humidity. Many users (including me) just don’t use it. It’s the main design flaw with an otherwise excellent product.

9. How does Estrid compare to safety razors?

Estrid is easier to use and less likely to cut you. Safety razors are more sustainable (metal-only blades), but have a learning curve. If you’ve tried a safety razor and it didn’t work for you, Estrid is an excellent middle-ground option.

10. Can I recycle Estrid razor blades?

Not yet. The blade cartridges are plastic and currently not recyclable. However, Estrid is developing a recycling program. The handle and wall holder are steel and can be recycled as scrap metal.
