Although autumn isn’t my favourite time of year overall, I think it might be my favourite type of decor! For the past few weeks, I’ve been waiting to be able to crack open the autumn decorations from the attic. Now it’s September, the kids (and husband) are back to school, so there is nothing holding me back!

I love refreshing my piano area this time of year. I’ve removed some spring and summer items to make way for autumn ones. Here are some ways I’ve restyled my piano this fall.

Candles:
Candles are a must for me, all year round. I love a mixture of neutral candles, such as the cream LED ones that can be left out all year round, as well as seasonal ones.
I have a collection of tealights and pumpkin-shaped candles that I’ve acquired over the last few years, and I pack them up each year to use again for the next.
Vases and flowers:
I’m not a fan of fake plants and flowers in general, but I don’t mind autumn ones so much! For some reason, I always have fresh flowers during spring and summer, then I tend to stick to fake ones during the colder months. Next year, I need to plan my garden more effectively so I can have fresh flowers to pick throughout the year.
I picked up the orange pumpkin vase from Primark a few weeks ago, it was too cute not to! The flowers are old ones I’ve had for a few years now. The cream vase with flowers was from The Range.
Prints:
I am a big fan of seasonal prints; it’s such a quick way to transform a space! Last year, I bought a digital pack of autumn photos from Etsy and printed my favourites myself – and this is one of them. I had this in my kitchen last year.
Other decor:
The stone pumpkin was a press sample last year from an online store called unwritten. The LED pumpkin light is another special from The Range.

I adore this corner now! It’s so important to me to feel cosy in my space, I find it totally uplifting. But with that being said, we need to be mindful of our consumption at this time of year. I buy items that I love and will use each year. We lived in a much smaller house last year, so I’ve splurged a bit more than usual on seasonal items.
You may also see these items in different areas of my home over the next few weeks. I’m a big fan of moving things from one room to another to give it a fresh look. Shopping over rooms is a great way to provide a room a makeover on a budget!

Gorgeous set up! I love how you’ve made it all cosy. I feel the same about faux plants – I feel like it’s only autumn/winter ones you can get away with.
