Eyeliners! Winner.

I’m sure I’ve already told you this story, but I’m going to tell you again because it’s my blog and I can if I want to. Also a lot of people don’t even read blogs, they just look at the pictures. So what I say is probably irrelevant anyway. Apart from the handful that do actually read – if that’s you, then comment your favourite flower in the comment section to celebrate bank holiday. Let’s all say woo together now. *woo*

So I was a pencil eyeliner user for most of my life. We’re talking easily 12 years. I was convinced I wouldn’t be able to use a pen liner and it would go everywhere.

It wasn’t until I was sent one a couple years ago that I actually gave it a go.

I was surprised. I’m not half bad at applying it and the colour is usually pretty intense. Though most do start to fade after time, drawing a weak grey line, rather than an intense black one.

How long a liner works for is a biggggggg part of weather I will buy it again. So far, the liner that has won the test of time is the Essence Waterproof one. Cheap as chips and lasted me months.

I’ve currently been using the L’Oréal Paris Super Liner Perfect Slim Intense liner for around 3 weeks.

It’s good news so far, we’re still getting along well.

It’s easy to apply and lasts me all day – which includes a full 9 hour shift at work and a gym session.

So that’s a win for me!

  1. I also have one from L’Oreal (can’t rememer its name at the moment) but I rarely use it because I suck at applying eyeliner. Seriously, I’m the worst and no matter how hard I try (and considering I’m not really a patient person) it always ends up looking weird. So I just ignore it most of the time 🙁

P.S. Daisies are my all time favourite flowers, sooo pretty! 🙂

  2. This is the one I use and have been for a few months now! I love it, gets such a thin line! Is it bad that I don’t actually know what my favourite flower is?! Maybe gypsophila if that counts!

  3. I made the switch to a pen eyeliner recently as well. I’ll have to see if this one’s available in the States. Peonies are my favorite flower!

  4. To start, Orchids are my fave flower! I’ve been using pen liners for about 5 or so years now, but I’ve recently branched into the gel eyeliner business, and it’s pretty awesome! I love that a pen liner is easy to use and apply, plus it’s super quick! Tania xx taniamichele.blogspot.co.uk

  5. I am looking for a new liquid eye liner to try, will keep this in mind! I don’t think I’ve ever used L’Oreal eye liners before.

  6. Carnations <3 Woo!

I actually have this and I love it! I am useless at lining my eyes but once I had a go at this, I couldn't believe how much easier it made everything! It's so fine and tight, like a good ass, and it gives an insanely deep black colour that goes nowhere unless you want it to! Super impressed!
