When it comes to whipping up delicious meals with less fat, air fryers are the way to go. They are becoming increasingly popular due to their ability to cook a variety of foods quickly and healthily. I’ve been sent this Tefal Easy Fry Dual Air Fryer so I can get on the air-fry hype myself. I’ve always wanted an air-fryer and I have been looking into buying one so I was very happy to get this collaboration!

Multiple Cooking Functions
What makes Tefal one of the best air fryers is its cooking functions. The appliance has eight pre-set programs that cater to various dishes such as fries, chicken, vegetables, fish, and desserts. This feature allows users to simply choose the desired program and let the fryer work its magic, ensuring the best results every time.
The Tefal air fryer also comes with a manual mode which offers users more control over the cooking time and temperature. This function is especially handy for those who have unique recipes or specific dietary requirements.

Ease of Use
The ease of use of the Tefal air fryer is another great factor. It features a digital touchscreen control panel that simplifies the selection of programs and temperatures. Additionally, the appliance requires no preheating, allowing you to start the cooking process immediately after setting the temperature and time.
Efficient Air Frying
The Tefal air fryer uses hot air circulation to cook food, using 70 % less energy than a conventional oven. This efficient air frying technique results in meals cooked 40% faster. Regardless of whether you’re preparing a full meal or just some snacks, the Tefal air fryer ensures a quick and energy-efficient cooking process.

Accommodating Large Capacity
One of the significant advantages of the Tefal air fryer is its accommodating 8.3-litre capacity. This substantial volume allows you to cook a considerable amount of food at once, making it an ideal choice for large families or gatherings. You can even cook a whole chicken in the larger draw!
Dual Baskets
The Tefal air fryer features dual baskets, a unique characteristic that sets it apart from other air fryers. These baskets allow you to cook two different foods simultaneously, each at different temperatures. This means you can prepare a main dish and a side dish at the same time, with both ready to serve together.

Reliable Heating Element
The heating element of the Tefal air fryer is impressively reliable and efficient. It can reach temperatures ranging from 40°C to 200°C, accommodating a wide variety of cooking modes. Whether you’re slow cooking a roast or crisping up some french fries, the Tefal air fryer’s heating element ensures excellent results.
Dishwasher Safe Components
Another aspect that enhances the ease of use of the Tefal air fryer is its dishwasher-safe components. The grill plate and drawer can be easily removed and cleaned in the dishwasher, making the post-cooking cleanup a breeze.
Instruction Manual
The Tefal air fryer comes with a comprehensive instruction manual that provides detailed information about the appliance’s features and how to use them. This guide is especially helpful for first-time users, ensuring they get the most out of their new air fryer. There’s even a booklet included with a few different recipes to try. Honestly, it doesn’t take long to learn how to use it!

My Thoughts
This is now one of my favourite kitchen appliances. I love that we can make chips in it without deep frying them! Plus we can cook my son’s fish fingers and waffles in 8 minutes, so it’s a great option for the whole family. My son is a picky eater so we use the oven almost daily for his fish fingers and it seems like such a waste of energy to fire the whole oven up for just three fish fingers! But now we can do them in the air fryer’s small compartment while also cooking some food for us in the other drawer.
I’ve got plenty of recipes I want to try! I’ve already tried chips, sweet potato fries and some Buffalo cauliflower wings. I undercooked the chips, but when I did the sweet potato fries I learnt from my mistake and didn’t overload the basket, so got much better results. I love crispy fries! I’ve told my husband he should really try some chicken wings in there rather than throwing them in the deep fryer.
I find myself using the manual setting rather than the preset functions, but that’s because I’ve been following recipes online so they have been a little bit different. When I get used to it more, I’m sure I’ll just be using the presets and estimating the cooking time.
A couple of negatives – If you have a small kitchen, it might not be suitable as it’s a large air fryer and takes up a lot of space on the counter. Check you have space for it before you buy it.
Another thing that bothers me is that once you start the air fryer, you can’t stop it. I’ve pressed start my accident a few times as the digital touch display means you can easily tap start by accident. You have to turn it off by the wall and wait a few minutes, or when you turn it on, it will just start cooking again.
Do you have an air fryer?
I love the Tefal Easy Fry Dual Air Fryer and I think it’s one of the best air fryers due to its functionalities, ease of use, and having two draws. We’ve already used it to create some delicious meals, and it’s been quite easy!
What’s your favourite thing to cook in an air fryer?
Definitely get you OH on the air fryer chicken wing hype! Honestly, SO much better! We very rarely use our oven now as the air fryer has taken over. We don’t have this brand but ours is very similar! It’s amazing. Roasties! Roasties are amazing in the air fryer too. I always make way more than I normally would because they’re too nice.
