I recently took my toddler to Flip Out York – the trampoline park in York previously known as Point Zero. I’m always looking for activities to keep him entertained and tire him out! So I thought a couple of hours of bouncing around would be ideal. They’ve also opened a new soft-play area in the park, which looked like so much fun. Flip Out York
Flip Out York (Point Zero) is fun for the whole family. It has over 100-floor level trampolines and the park offers a variety of sessions, including toddler sessions, open jump sessions, and evening sessions with the lights turned down and the music turned up!
Foam Pits
Let’s face it; who doesn’t love a good jump into a foam pit? You can find a few foam pits at Flip Out York (Point Zero) Trampoline Park. The foam pits are a safe and fun way for everyone to enjoy jumping and tumbling without the fear of injury.
NEW Soft Play
The newly opened soft play area is a lot of fun for kids! There are various levels to explore and small obstacles to go across. There are two slides in this area. My son loved climbing up to the slide and went on it loads! This has replaced the ‘Heights of Mount Enzo’ which was a large airbag that you could jump on.
NEW Ninja Obstacle Course
This new ninja obstacle course has taken the place of the old one with foam pits. This one has various swings, ladders and ropes to climb. They are a lot of fun for younger kids, too!
NEW Inflatable
The new large inflatable has replaced the old dodgeball area at the back of the trampoline part. It’s a large inflatable that has a slide, run-up basketball hoops and a big turntable that you have to jump over. There are a few other little activities in this part of the park.
Sessions
Toddler Sessions
We visited Flip Out York (Point Zero) for one of their toddler sessions. These sessions offer a safe and fun environment for children aged 1-5 to enjoy the trampolines. They can bounce around, test their balance, and enhance their motor skills while having a blast. My son is almost 3, and he had a great time there. He can’t quite jump yet but he had a lot of fun trying. He really enjoys running across the trampolines and jumping onto his bum. The session was quiet so there was lots of room to run about. He really enjoyed the new soft play areas, too.
Friendly Session
Flip Out York (Point Zero) has partnered with local charities and professionals to design sessions that cater specifically to children with additional needs. These sessions transform the park into a haven for children, offering a supportive and understanding environment where they can let loose and have fun. Currently, this session runs on a Thursday between 6-7.
Family Packages
The park also offers family packages that include an hour of trampolining madness for only £10 per person.
