Keep hashtags niche – when using hashtags, keep them all within the same niche. I found that if kept the hashtags around the same topic, the post got more reach than if I put loads of different topics in the same post.
Be consistent – it took months for me to start getting more views. I was stuck in 200-view jail for ages and over time, my posts started to do better.
Keep doing what works – if a particular style of topic works for you – stick to it! I know home/garden/food posts work great for me. If I ever create content about beauty or fashion, the posts tank. I believe TikTok does categorise your account so if you make videos of lots of different topics, it doesn’t know who to show your videos to.

It died off during the day then gained views quicker in the evenings. After a few days, it did slow down but it’s still getting views and engagement.
It just goes to show that even if a video doesn’t do well to start with, it can pick up later down the line! I didn’t get many followers from it though, about 20-30!
