Autumn is many people’s favourite time of year. It’s hard to resist this season, with all the beautiful colours and cosy decor. Like many, I love decorating for autumn and Halloween. I’m a homebody and autumn really does capture that feeling of being warm and cosy at home, eating comfort food in front of a fire. Being wrapped up in a blanket with a hot drink and just enjoying your space.
So when I had a chance to work with Linen Notes – I knew I wanted to do something for autumn. Although their products come in colours for all seasons, I fell in love with the tan colour. It’s not as bright and harsh as a typical orange, it’s more of a relaxing, rust shade. Perfect for this time of year.

About Linen Notes
Linen Notes is a small, family-run business that sells a wide range of handmade linen products for your home. They sell bedding, tableware and bath linen in a wide range of colours and sizes.
Bedding
There are currently two bedding collections – the Linen Bedding Home Collection for that cosy feel at home, and the Linen Bedding Hotel Collection, which has more of a luxury feel to it. There’s a range of sheets and pillowcases to finish it all off, and even a summer cover collection and gorgeous waffle throw for the changing seasons.
Kitchen and Dining
The kitchen and dining collections have a range of tablecloths, tea towels, table runners and more. The Hemstitched Collection is for those who appreciate delicate details and have a lovely, detailed hem. The Tasselled Collection adds that extra flair.
Let’s not forget the gorgeous bread bags that will keep your bread fresher for longer – great if you love baking or getting fresh bread from the bakery!

Bath Linen
The waffle bath linen collection features towels, wash clothes and bath mats. They are quick drying with a luxury feel, there are even guest towels.
Quality Linens
Linen Notes use Oeko Tex 100 certified materials and European Flax. This means their products meet high safety and environmental standards. The products are free from harmful levels of toxic substances. Linen Notes also focuses on eco-friendly production methods. They use energy-saving equipment in making their linens.

My Impressions
As you can see from the photos, products from Linen Notes are packed with love and care. They are a joy to unbox – it’s like unwrapping a gift. The products themselves look and feel of good quality. You can see from the photos, they appear exactly as they do on the website.
I’m so happy with the items I picked and cannot wait to use them again and again over the colder seasons.
Here are the products I ordered:
Here’s how I style the items for autumn:

Autumn Table Decor
I created an autumn table setting using my Linen Notes products. Here’s how I did it!
Table runner
Linen Notes do table runners to match their tableware, but I opted for an autumn-themed one this time. It goes great with the table and placemats! If I had gone for a plain one, I would have added more items to the table to bring the theme together.
Centrepiece
I used artificial flowers in an old vase I’ve had for a few years for the centrepiece. I love how they look together and if I’m honest, I’m glad to have some artificial flowers rather than buying new ones every few weeks like I’ve been doing since Spring! Though I probably will buy some autumn ones at some point, as I love fresh flowers.
Candles
Halloween and pumpkin-themed candles tied the whole thing together. These weren’t too expensive from The Range. The pillar candles will also be great for the Christmas season, too. If I don’t burn them, I’ll use them again next year.
Kitchen Sideboard
As the kitchen sideboard is close to our dining table, I always style that also. I removed some of the items that are typical summer colours – mostly pink! And swapped them for some autumn items and colours. I love the white pumpkin bowl, it will be great to hide Halloween sweets in there!
I have a few different prints and cycle through them each season. So I swapped some summer flowers for an acorn print to help style the sideboard.

I’m a big fan of Linen Notes now! I already have my eyes on the dark green tablecloth for Christmas and the light pink one for Spring!
Do you change your decor for each season?
