ad. La Redoute has had a strong hold over me for the past year or so. They have become my go-to for linen tablecloths for a while now. I basically just rotate my dark green gingham tablecloth and colourful chequered one. Both of them are from La Redoute.

So, imagine my delight at being able to create a whole new table setting using products from La Redoute Interieurs!

La Redoute Tablecloth

A new table setting always makes me happy. And if you’re a regular around here, you’ll know I love an autumn or Christmas table setting. Creating one for summer in my new farmhouse-style kitchen has been a lot of fun.

The base of this setting is the linen tablecloth from La Redoute Interieurs. It’s the Victorine Best Quality Linen Tablecloth in the colour Opaline, which is a delicious greeny blue. I picked the Nadesha Floral 100% Cotton Voile Placemats – they are reversible with different patterns on each side. Even better, they are washable at 30 °C, which is a major bonus, as my four-year-old is a big fan of dropping hummus everywhere.

For the napkins, I went for the Victorine Best Quality Linen Napkins in Prussian Blue.

For dishware, I chose the Capria Floral Flat Sandstone Plates, Capria Olive Branch Sandstone Dessert Plates, and Gogain Two-Tone Earthenware Bowls in green. I love this set so much; they look great together, and I love how they look with the placemats.

Now, for the glassware – I wanted something that would be good for both water and wine, so I went with the Paljett Bubble-Stemmed Glasses. They have gold speckles in them – so they’ll be suitable for autumn and Chrismtas, too. They’re made from thick glass and have a satisfying weight to them. Paired with the Dotio Speckled Glass Carafe for water, they look great! The glasses rest on the Jakar Woven Straw Coasters, which have green accents to complement the colours in the rest of the table setting.

For decor items, the centre of this setup is the 21cm Beige Speckled Indoor Planter. I’ve put some fake cut roses in here, but it would equally look good with a plant. I typically prefer table flowers, but I like the light pink roses with the colour scheme.

I also got the Set of 3 Riya Metal Candlesticks to add a bit of height and variation to the scene.

As you can probably tell, I’m really happy with my new setup and I really love the La Redoute Tablecloth, and I look forward to mixing and matching these items with others to create different looks over the various seasons.

  1. I love what you’ve picked here. I really need to jazz our table up. We don’t really sit at the table very often, but I’d like to think if I made it all fancy then we would. I’m very indecisive though! I’m always a little put off / overwhelmed with how many different styles and designs there are out there.
