Ad|Gifted – Times for another Degustabox review! It was a bit of a surprise this month as the box arrived before the email from Degustabox saying it was due that day! It was a nice surprise as I love getting a box and seeing what is inside.
Don’t forget, you can get £3 off your own Degusabox with the code: E1MWX
Degustabox Review – April 2021
Pancakes X8 Twin Wrapped – Brioche Pasquier
These come in four-packs of two. I had them with blueberries, raspberries and maple syrup for breakfast. They were so tasty and a great start to the day!
Nutty Granola 500g – Dorset Cereals
I love Dorset cereals I was so glad to have this. I do get it every so often when it’s on offer, it’s a bit expensive so is one of those luxury items I’ll sometimes treat myself to.
I’ve had this for breakfast the past few mornings and it’s delicious. It already is sweet but I add some honey to it as I like a bit more sweetness.
Japanese Teriyaki Pouch – Tilda
This rice is mixed with spring onions, carrots and water chestnuts with the addition of soy sauce, sugar and mirin (ingredients typically used in teriyaki marinade). I had enjoyed it mixed with some extra vegetables for a healthy lunch. It was delicious!
Sticky Toffee Pudding 262g – McVities Hobnobs
Everyone loves Hobnobs! I only got 3 out of the packet as my partner kept eating them. Think we will be getting these again and trying the brownie ones. They are so nice!
Kentucky Habanero Hot Sauce – Bull’s-Eye
My partner LOVES this brand. After having the BBQ sauce from Degustabox in the past, we always buy it now. So he was excited for this as he is a hot sauce fan too and uses it on everything.
Ginger Lemonade – Gunna
This drink contains 5% sugar, fewer calories and no artificial flavours. I would have LOVED this in the past, but since being pregnant having too much ginger to try to stop my morning sickness, I’ve gone off it. My boyfriend had this and he didn’t like it. He said it tasted like ginger beer mixed with cheap lemonade. There’s a raspberry one which I wish I had gotten!
Vitamin D Still Mango & Passionfruit 0.5L – Get More Vits
Get a dose of vitamin D with this lovely drink. It’s so nice fresh from the fridge while sat in the garden!
Charcoal – Noodl nest
This vegan, high in fibre and protein noodles is a quick way to have a light lunch or snack. Just boil your kettle and off you go! I had this for lunch and they were okay but the noodles tasted a bit of cardboard. Not sure I’d buy them myself as there’s plenty of other similar alternatives that I prefer, like the Naked Noodles.
Dark & Milk – Aero
This dark & milk Aero bar has such an intense taste. I love dark chocolate and it was so nice to have it in that light Aero form. I’ve not had Aero chocolate for ages and now I want more!
I love it when there’s a bar of chocolate in Degustabox!
Chipotle Cooking Paste – Very Lazy
I cannot wait to use this! I love chipotle paste, we usually get Tesco’s own so it will be nice to try something different. I like to boil some chicken thighs, pull them to make pulled chicken, mix in chipotle paste and serve on a bread bun for a yummy pulled chicken burger!
Multivitamin Chewing Gum – Get More Vits
Love this, it’s a nice way to get a few extra vitamins with 25% RDA of 10 vitamins per piece. The chewing gum itself does have a bit of a toothpaste taste. I really liked it! I’ve put it in our ‘treat’ drawer and have it to prevent me from reaching for the cake bars haha.
Dark Chocolate Orange Almond – KIND
I love Kind bars, they are such a good snack after the gym or a replacement breakfast when you are busy. Now available in the iconic chocolate orange flavour. Yummy!
>I really enjoyed the most of this box! Only two products that I didn’t love but it’s still fun to try new things 🙂
