Anadalis Mediterranean Cuisine can be found right next to the Windmill Bay Hotel, Argasi, Zakynthos, Greece.
It’s a little bit hidden in Zakynthos, but there are signposts that point to the Anadalis restaurant. It’s right on the seafront, so there are stunning views and the sounds of waves as you finish your day.
Anadalis gets busy, so went early, just before 7 pm so we could get a table for eight. We were welcomed with a basket of bread with butter, a dip and oil.
We skipped starters and all picked a main. Only because everyone else did, I would have gone for a starer as I love starters!
I went for the sea bass, as I love fish. It was sauteed with the right balance of crispy on the edges l and came on a bed of spinach, croutons and a tomato sauce. It’s not massive, so you might want to order a side to go with it. Luckily my Dad did that and gave me some of his chips!
My Mum ordered the pork shank. Pork is my least favourite meat, but this was cooked so well. It was so tender it fell off the bone. There was so much meat on it that Mum ended up giving me a fair bit. That says a lot really that I was loving this pork shank – Analdalis restaurant cooked it perfectly!
The lady who served us also works in our hotel during the day. She works 8 hours in our hotel, she comes to work 4 hours in the restaurant all summer. That’s nuts!
Anyway, if you ever find yourself in Argasi, Zante, then get your bum over here!
