Kiko 101 Colour Fever

This small palette was so cheap and cost around 6EUR. It’s made me push my Naked 3 palette, my previous staple, to the back of my makeup draw and I’ve been reaching for this almost every day.

It’s creamy, rich and pigmented and I love the pink/plum colours in it. I use the lightest as a base, with the two darker ones on the outer lids for my everyday makeup look.

What are your eyeshadow staples lately?

Also I don’t know how to shoot my eyeshadow photos without looking down. But I feel like a bit of a knob. So TIPZ PLEASE.

  4. Such a gorgeous palette, I absolutely love the tones in the shadows <3 A little tip I use to shoot myself in eyeshadows is tilting the camera to the side and taking a kind of angled shot 😛 <3

  6. This palette has some great bang for the buck. All the colors are so pretty and wearable. You can always try gazing off instead of down. I’ve fallen back in love with my NARS night series eye palette lately.

  7. Kiko seems to be a really good budget makeup brand and that eyeshadow quad looks lovely. And yes to tips on how to photography eye makeup, I seriously am clueless about it too!

  9. I love the look of this, I used to be all about the bright and dramatic eye makeup but these days I prefer neutral shades. I hope the KIKO shop in Malaga still has this when I go later in the year! x

  10. These shades are so pretty. Hah, I can’t get passed these shots without feeling pretty weird, though you really pulled them off well.

  11. I love all these dusky shades – I’m a little paranoid these would be too dark on my chalky pale skin.
