ad Naked Nutrition is a brand that aims to support your health and fitness goals with premium, clean ingredients. It now has over 100 products, and many of these have three ingredients or fewer.
I’ve been sent the Naked Chocolate Whey Protein Powder. Let’s find out more about it.

What’s so good about Naked Whey?
Naked Whey protein is sourced from small non-GMO dairy farms. The cows are grass-fed, roaming freely and not administered any growth hormones, such as rBGH or rBST. Naked Whey is completely free of additives, artificial sweeteners, synthetics, preservatives, soy or gluten.
There’s also 25g of protein and 5.9g of BCAAs (branched-chain amino acids) to help support muscle growth.
Chocolate Naked Whey
Staying true to the brand name ‘Naked’, the product contains only three ingredients:
- Whey protein concentrate
- Coconut sugar
- Cacao powder
Not a single added sugar or fructose in sight!

Benefits of Grass-Fed Whey
As the grass-fed cows are free-roaming, they produce higher-quality milk. It’s also better for the animals and the environment.
You may have heard of BCAAs before – I used to take them when I was on a weight-lifting program, as they help muscle-protein synthesis. This means they help muscle growth and recovery after exercise.
Have you ever considered that your protein powder may help boost your immune system? Whey from grass-fed cows has higher levels of compounds such as beta-lactoglobulin, lactoferrin, and lysozyme. These all help your body fight harmful bacteria.
Grass-fed meat has more conjugated linoleic acid (CLA). This boosts immunity, helps preserve lean muscle mass and helps you burn more fat!
Compared with regular whey, grass-fed whey has more omega-3 fatty acids and CLA. These are great for both metabolism and heart health.
Cold Processed For Your Health
Naked Nutrition uses minimal heat during the manufacturing process to ensure the amino acids, omega-3s, CLA and immunoglobulins remain intact. This also helps your body absorb them more effectively.
How To Use Naked Whey
Just add two scoops to protein shakes, smoothie bowls or baking.
For a shake, you can use milk or water.

Chocolate And Peanut Butter Shake
I made myself a chocolate and peanut butter shake with Naked Whey. Here’s what I included;
- 2 scoops of Chocolate Naked Whey
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
- Vanilla essance
- Half a banana
- Dairy-Free milk
I went rogue on another shake and used Biscoff spread instead of peanut butter. They are both divine! I’m a regular breakfast skipper and often feel too busy to eat. I tend to forget until I feel hungry mid-morning, then get desperate for something quick. Throwing a bunch of ingredients into a blender with Naked Whey is a great way to keep me going until lunch, while also increasing my protein intake.

There are loads of recipe ideas on the Naked Nutrition website!
It can also be used after exercise to promote muscle repair and growth.
So if you’re on the lookout to increase your protein intake, without increasing the amount of additives and nasties – try Naked Whey Powder today.
I’m loving smoothies at the moment. They’re SO easy to make and can be packed full of goodness. I love the idea of this and biscoff! I bet that was amazing. I can be so boring with flavours, I’ll have to try that with the vanilla one I have.
