ad. So, I’ve been seeing Burga phone cases all over Instagram for ages now, and I’ll be honest – I was sceptical. Another trendy phone case brand with beautiful designs that probably costs a fortune and breaks after a week? That’s what I thought.

But then Burga got in touch and offered to send me some cases to try. I figured, why not? My iPhone 16 Pro needed some protection anyway, and if they turned out to be rubbish, at least I’d know to warn you lot about it.

Spoiler alert: I was pleasantly surprised. Here’s my honest Burga phone case review.

Burga Phone Case Review

What I Actually Received

They sent me three different Burga cases for my iPhone 16 Pro:

  • Prince Charming – Stars (which has basically become my personality now)
  • Sweet Tooth (super cute and playful)
  • Wild Era (earthy vibes, very autumn)

I also got a Prince Charming – Stars Travel Mug. It’s gorgeous and I love the matchy matchy look with the phone case!

First Impressions: Do They Feel Cheap?

Right, let’s get into it. When you’re spending money on fashionable phone cases, you want to know they’re not just going to be flimsy plastic phone cases that crack the first time you drop them, right?

The good news: These are made from high-quality materials and you can feel it straight away. They’re not those cheap plastic cases you get for a fiver from the market. There’s proper weight to them, and when you snap them on (it’s a snap case design, super easy), they feel secure.

The edges are raised around the screen and camera, which means when I inevitably plonk my phone face-down on a table (we all do it), there’s actually protection there. No more cringing every time I put my phone down.

The Designs: Actually Stunning

Okay, so this is where Burga properly wins. The designs are chef’s kiss. So many lovely options!

The Prince Charming – Stars case has become my go-to. It’s got this dark background with gold stars scattered across it, and it looks so much more expensive than it actually is. I’ve had so many people ask me where I got it from. It genuinely feels like a fashion accessory rather than just a phone case.

Sweet Tooth is more playful for Christmas – think bright colours and fun patterns.

Wild Era gives me autumn forest walk vibes with its earthy tones and leopard prints.

My only gripe is that some of the printing looks pixilated up close. I’ve had cheaper phone cases that have looked better. I love the designs overall, but it’s as if they’ve printed them on glossy card and stuck them to the plastic.

Protection: Will They Actually Save Your Phone?

Look, I’m clumsy as hell. I drop my phone more times than I’d like to admit. My phone also falls off my tripod a lot. So protection is genuinely important to me, not just the pretty factor.

These cases are definitely more protective than your standard snap case. They’re not quite as heavy-duty as a proper tough case would be, but for everyday protection against accidental drops, they’re solid. I’ve dropped mine a few times (naturally) and my phone’s been absolutely fine.

The material feels like it would absorb impact well, and the raised edges mean your screen and camera aren’t directly hitting surfaces. If you’re after a good phone case that balances style with protection, these definitely tick both boxes.

What About Other Products?

Burga doesn’t just do phone cases – they’ve got a whole range. The travel mug I got is genuinely lovely. Same beautiful designs, good quality, and it actually keeps my coffee hot which is all I ask for in life.

They also do:

  • AirPods cases (both for standard and the new AirPods case designs)
  • Screen protectors
  • Burga ring holders
  • Face masks
  • And loads more

Basically, if you find a design you love, you can get it on pretty much everything. It’s quite nice having your phone case and travel mug match, I won’t lie.

The Range: So Many Options

One thing I will say about Burga cases is that their vast selection is impressive. Whether you’ve got the new iPhone Air (when it comes out), a Pro Max iPhone, or even a mini iPhone, they’ve got you covered. They stock cases for most of the best phones on the market.

And the designs? Hundreds of them. Literally. From minimalist to maximalist, cute to edgy, there’s something for every personal style. Their new collection drops regularly too, so if you’re someone who likes switching up their look, you’ll never run out of options.

Price: Are They Affordable?

Burga cases typically run from around £30-45 for their standard snap cases. That puts them in mid-range territory – not as cheap as a basic Amazon case, but far cheaper than something like Casetify, which can easily hit £50-60 for a similar style.

Worth knowing: Burga almost always has a discount code or offer running. At the time of writing there’s usually something – a percentage off, a buy two get two free, or a seasonal sale. Check the site directly before buying at full price because you’ll often save 20-30% without much effort. Their email list also gives you a discount on your first order.

The travel mug and accessories tend to be comparably priced to similar quality products elsewhere. The appeal is getting the matching design, which is genuinely nice if you find a pattern you love.

What Could Be Better?

The printing quality is my main reservation. The designs look brilliant in photos and at a normal glance, but some of them look slightly pixelated when you look closely. It’s like they’ve printed on glossy card rather than directly onto the case material. It’s not awful, but it doesn’t match how premium the cases feel in the hand. Darker, busier designs hide this better than lighter or more minimal ones.

Durability on lighter coloured cases is something I’d want to test before recommending – I’ve had the darker Prince Charming Stars case since November 2025 and it’s still looking good, but lighter cases from other brands tend to yellow or get grubby over time. I haven’t tested that specific scenario with Burga.

If you drop your phone regularly from any real height, these aren’t the most rugged option available. They’re good for everyday protection, not for building sites.

Update: How Have They Held Up Long-Term?

I’ve now had these cases for around ten months (I got them in November 2025), which gives a better picture than a first impressions review.

The Prince Charming Stars case is still my main case and it still looks good. No fading on the design, no cracking, and it hasn’t stretched or warped. The snap mechanism is slightly looser than it was originally – not noticeably so, but I’ve become more careful about putting it in my bag with keys.

One edge has a tiny chip where I dropped it on concrete. The phone was fine. That’s honestly the main point.

I haven’t noticed the printing pixelation getting worse over time, which I was slightly worried about. The finish is still intact.

Overall: for everyday use across ten months, they’ve been absolutely fine. I wouldn’t necessarily buy the same design again (I want something new), but I’d definitely buy from Burga again.

My Verdict

After using these Burga phone cases for a few weeks now, I’m genuinely impressed. They’re good quality, properly protective for everyday use, and the designs are stunning. It’s nice to have a phone case that actually makes me excited to pull my phone out.

The fact that they use premium materials but keep their prices relatively reasonable (if you take advantage of the sales) makes them even better. And with their Black Friday sale on right now, it’s honestly the perfect time to grab a couple.

If you’re after a good phone case that doesn’t make you choose between style and protection, I’d definitely recommend giving Burga a go.

Ready to Get Your Own?

You can browse the full range at burga.com. Check the site directly for current deals – they usually have something on. And if it’s your first order, look for a welcome discount before you checkout.

The matching accessories (travel mugs, AirPods cases) are worth a look if you find a design you love – the matchy set is one of those things that feels slightly ridiculous until you have it, and then you’re completely sold on it.

Have you tried Burga? Let me know in the comments what you got and whether yours has held up as well as mine.
