ad. It’s October, which means it’s absolutely the time to start thinking about Christmas. I know, I know. But Black Friday is coming, and if you’ve got kids who are obsessed with a particular character (and what child between the ages of three and ten isn’t), the kids clothing range from adidas right now is worth a serious look.

We took my son to the cinema for the first time this summer to see Toy Story 5, which he loved, and he has been absolutely obsessed ever since. So when the Toy Story adidas collection landed, I knew exactly who it was for. He’s also deep into Spider-Man, so we’ve got a bit of both. Here’s what we have and why I think it’s worth keeping an eye on for the adidas Black Friday deals.

The Toy Story Collection

Pixar Toy Story Backpack (£20)

This is the one I’m most excited about. It’s a blue kids’ backpack with Toy Story graphics and the adidas 3-Stripes, and my son has already claimed it for school. Small enough for little ones, padded, adjustable straps. £20 is a fair price for an adidas piece, and if they’re going to use it every day you’re definitely getting your money’s worth.

Disney Pixar Toy Story Jogger Set (£24.70, down from £38)

A matching sweatshirt and jogger set in blue with Toy Story characters on. It’s already reduced to £24.70 from £38, which is a 35% discount, so if you’re waiting for Black Friday and this one catches your eye, it might be worth grabbing sooner rather than later. Soft French terry, elasticated waistband, sizes from 0-3 months up to 3-4 years. My son would wear this every single day given the chance.

Pixar Toy Story T-Shirt (£16.10, down from £23)

A burgundy long-sleeved tee with Toy Story graphics and adidas branding. Again already on sale: £16.10 down from £23. Loose fit, soft, goes up to age 9-10 so it’s one of the pieces in the range that works for slightly older children too. A good layer for autumn and the kind of thing kids actually want to wear rather than tolerate.

Pixar Toy Story Socks (£10)

Grey crew socks with Toy Story graphics. These are the classic stocking filler: small, well-priced, and the kind of thing kids are actually pleased to find. Comes in a range of kids’ sizes from 5.5K upwards.

The Spider-Man Picks

My son is equally obsessed with Spider-Man, so we also have some pieces from the Marvel range. The Spider-Man jogger set follows the same idea as the Toy Story one: character graphics, adidas branding, the sort of thing that gets worn on repeat. The Spider-Man socks are a solid match for the Toy Story ones if you want to mix the sets.

If you have a child who’s firmly in one camp (Woody or Spidey, you probably know which), these work well as a themed gift bundle. Mix the jogger set, the t-shirt, the backpack and the socks and you’ve got a full outfit plus a bag for under £70 at current prices, and potentially less in the Black Friday sale.

These are just the pieces we’ve got, but the kids clothing range goes a lot further than this. There’s a full Disney, Marvel and Spider-Man collection across clothing, footwear and accessories, so if your child has a particular character obsession there’s a decent chance adidas has something for them.

Why Black Friday Is Worth It for Kids’ Clothes

The adidas Black Friday sales tend to include a decent spread of kids’ pieces alongside the adult ranges, and it’s one of the better times to pick up the character collections without paying full price. A few of the Toy Story items are already reduced, but Black Friday usually brings additional discounts across the kids clothing range, so worth bookmarking the page now so you don’t have to go looking for it on the day.

My plan is to pick up the backpack for my son’s Christmas and potentially grab the jogger set in the next size up for him to grow into. He’s already claimed the Spider-Man socks as his own, which I think settles that particular decision.
