It’s been a while now that we visited The Star Inn the City in York – a very tasty but a bit on a pricey side. We recently went to Whitby’s version – The Starr Inn the Harbour to celebrate a birthday.
The menu was similar to the one in York. My boyfriend actually had the same thing as he had last time! I was tempted by the same lamb dish but decided to get the half lobster instead which was on the specials menu.
The problem with lobster is that you don’t get much meat on them! So although it was delicious, I could have gone for the full one. Thankfully I opted to have a started – salt and pepper squid. It came with three sauces, my favourite was by far the Asian slaw!
I’d love to go again, but I think next time I’d go for the pulled pork burger!
