Learning Piano

I had keyboard lessons for 10 years as a child. I was working towards my grade 8 exam before I went to university and left it all behind. Between then and now, I’ve played here and there, taught myself a few songs on the piano but overall, nothing has really stuck.

I’ve always wanted to learn the piano and wish I had piano lessons instead of keyboard lessons. Teaching myself was difficult because I always ended up struggling with my left hand, which is used to playing chords rather than notes on the F clef.

I’ve gone and invested in a new piano with weighted keys (my keyboard does have these) and booked in with a piano teacher in a few weeks for a taster lesson. I’m so excited to finally get this show on the road and start playing properly!

This is something I’ve always wanted to learn how to do and I’m so happy I’m finally doing it!
