A few weeks ago I went on a stroll into York. Because, yanno, being just a mile away from the centre, I can do that. It’s a beautiful city and I wanted to share some photos I took that day!

  4. Thanks for the photo-tour of York! The stone, brick, and stucco tile-roofed buildings and the cobbled and tiled streets look surprisingly clean, and the windows look well and neatly painted. Some of those buildings, especially those needing stonework touch-ups, look very old.
    Those ice cream carts must do a brisk business, especially as the weather gets hotter.
    The flowers and blossoms look pretty. I love that view of the river and of the ‘River Duchess
