On one of the cooler days of our trip to Melbourne, my brother and his wife took us to Sorrento in Victoria. We took a ferry across the water from Queenscliff Harbour which took about an hour to reach Sorrento Pier.

From there, we drove to a park so the kids could run off some energy before going to the seafront to get some hot chips to go with the sandwiches we brought with us. After eating and being surrounded by seagulls, we had a wander on the beach and down the pier.

As you can see, the beach was ridiculously stunning. Light sand and clear blue sea.

We drove around to a few other beaches, before driving through St Kilda. Sadly it started chucking it down with rain so we headed home!

  1. What a beautiful place – and how blogger is that pier? I love it! Looks so peaceful and chilled out too!
