I will never go on a sunbed. I used to when I was young and stupid, but I am terrified of them now. I’m also a bit afraid of the sun. When I go on holiday, I wear high-factor suncream and if I feel myself burning, I cover up right away. It’s just not worth to risk to look a little brown.

Fake Me Gradual Tan Lotion

Although I understand how some people want to look tanned during the summer. The last time I used fake tan was when I came back from holiday and I knew people would comment on my lack of tan, because people are pricks, so I enhanced it a bit with fake tan, TAKE THAT.

They still commented on how white I looked for 2 weeks in 35c Cypriot sun. FML.

I’m clumsy, messy and not very precise in most things in life, so a full-on fake tan would look uneven and awful on me, so I like to opt for gradual tans like Fake Me Gradual Tan Lotion.

Fake Me Gradual Tan Lotion

Fake Me! tanning lotions are formulated with DHA (dihydroxyacetone), a colourless sugar that reacts with the amino acids on the surface of the skin to produce a natural-looking tan. The tanning lotion is applied to the skin in a circular motion using a tanning mitt or glove to ensure even coverage. The product is then left to develop for a few hours before being washed off, revealing a natural-looking tan.

Fake Me! tanning lotions come in different shades to suit different skin tones and preferences. The products are also enriched with nourishing ingredients such as aloe vera, coconut oil, and vitamin E to hydrate and soothe the skin.

One of the benefits of Fake Me! tanning lotions is their ease of use. They are easy to apply and provide a natural-looking tan without the need for sun exposure, which can be harmful to the skin. The tanning lotion is also long-lasting and fades evenly, giving a natural-looking tan for several days.

  1. I’m so pale I’m used to it now! I went through that phase as a teen were all my mates would be jumping on the sunbeds with every spare £1 they had but it just never appealed to me. I tried a spray tan a few times and it was just awful! The tan was such a dirty colour on me, it creased and cracked on my joints and hands, and it would NOT stop developing! I remember panicking after waking up bright orange one morning and resorting to TURPS to try and scrub it off!!

    Sarah 🙂

  2. It sounds like a good product! I know I’ve tried moisturisers with gradual tans before but not been impressed with the results – I think a dedicated product like this would fare better.

I’m the same as you too, try avoid getting sunburnt and stick away from most fake tans as I’d never get it right!

Hope you are having an awesome week so far! 🙂

  3. I`m the same when it comes to a sunbed, especially after a memorable scene from Final Destination:)) But just like you, I am pale and need help in that department. I do fake tan sometimes, but I get the lightest shades, so it won`t be as obvious if I make a mistake.
