ad. I’m usually a dress person. Give me a dress and I can get dressed in about thirty seconds, whereas tops and bottoms mean actually thinking about what goes with what, and some mornings I just don’t have the brain space for that.
So when Lintico got in touch to work together, I was a bit surprised by my own reaction, because I found myself pulled straight towards their trousers. They do dresses too, plenty of them, but I fancied trying something different for once. I picked two pairs of trousers and a skirt.
What is Lintico?
Lintico is a linen clothing brand established in 2023, built around a belief that nature heals and that comfort shouldn’t be something you have to compromise on to look put together. Their whole approach is built around what they call ‘Uninterrupted Comfort’ — clothes designed to move with you rather than restrict you, particularly through the changes a body goes through across different seasons of life.
A few things stood out to me about how they talk about what they do:
The fabric itself. Everything’s built on 100% European linen, and they’ve developed something called Aero-Soft™ technology, which is essentially their way of softening the fabric so it doesn’t have that stiff, scratchy feel linen sometimes gets a reputation for. No chemicals involved, just a finishing process. The linen itself is naturally breathable and temperature-regulating too, which matters more than you’d think when you’re wearing something all day.
Design that’s meant to honour the body, not hide it. This is a brand line I actually appreciated: they talk about designing for real women rather than mannequins, with what they call forgiving silhouettes that skim rather than cling. Their fabrics are also meant to help manage body temperature, which ties back to that comfort-first approach.
A slower, more considered approach to buying clothes. Lintico positions itself against fast fashion, with what they call ‘investment pieces’ — things durable enough for everyday wear but polished enough to dress up, designed to last years rather than one season. Details like natural buttons (shell, tagua nut) and reinforced stitching are part of that.
The craftsmanship. Every detail seems to be a deliberate choice — nature-derived buttons, deep and genuinely useful pockets, precision stitching. It’s the kind of thing you notice more once you’re actually wearing the pieces rather than just looking at photos online.
What I was sent
I was sent three pieces to style and review:
- Rosamund Linen Textured Pleated Waist Skirt — smoky brown, size L
- Heidi Linen Simple Button Fly Trousers — forest green, size L
- Veridiana Sculpted Pleat Elasticated Back Relaxed Pants — 100% linen, espresso brown, size L
The Rosamund Skirt
55% ramie / 45% lyocell blend, lightweight fabric — the floatiest and most sheer of the three pieces, which is where that lovely drape comes from. Pleated waist detail, classic A-line shape, midi length. Fit rated 4/5 towards relaxed/oversized. Worth noting this one isn’t 100% linen — it’s a ramie-lyocell blend.
I love how flowy this skirt is, and I already know it’s going to be a staple piece for me this year. I’d recently bought a brown skirt from somewhere else, and I regret that now, because this one is so much better. The other one has much stiffer material, whereas this is stunning.
And it has pockets.
The Heidi Trousers
55% European linen / 45% cotton blend, heavyweight fabric — more substantial and structured than the other two, which is likely part of why it feels more like a “proper trouser.” Tapered leg, regular fit, button fly closure, pre-shrunk.
I think these are so cute. Again, the fit is perfect, and I love how they sit around the waist, it’s such a flattering look. I feel like such an adult in these trousers. They feel sophisticated, and I genuinely can’t wait to wear them out.
The Veridiana Trousers
100% Medium-Weight European Linen. Medium-weight linen sits in the middle of the range: enough body to hold its shape without feeling flimsy, still breathable. High-waisted with structured front pleats, an elasticated back waistband, and straight welt pockets. Fit rated 4/5 towards relaxed/oversized.
These were probably my biggest risk. I’m not a fan of oversized clothing generally, and these are wide-leg linen trousers, so I wasn’t entirely sure going in. But honestly, they fit me so well. The sizing felt spot on and I love the length of them too.
They’re so comfortable, but they still look put together in a relaxed way rather than like I’ve given up. And I love the colour.
