Degustabox September 2023

ad. I always look forward to my Degustabox delivery day. It’s such so much fun opening the box each month and seeing what’s inside. I always ignore my email from Degustabox so it can be a complete surprise.

I always look forward to my Degustabox delivery day. It’s such so much fun opening the box each month and seeing what’s inside. I always ignore my email from Degustabox so it can be a complete surprise.

Let’s see what was in the September 2023 Degustabox.

Simply Cook Goan Curry

I love SimplyCook. I’ve used them loads in the past. It’s recipe kits that have all the herbs, sauces and seasonings. All you need to do is buy a few ingredients and follow the easy instructions.

Chipoys Chilli & Lime tortilla chips

Chipoys Chilli & Lime – famous American rolled tortilla chips produced in Mexico with intense, authentic flavour and a real crunch. I have to confess that I didn’t really like these. They tasted like cardboard! I just gave them to my husband in the end.

6 O’Clock Gin

This is a classing G&T made from the iconic London Dry Gin from 6 O’Clock. I don’t drink so I didn’t try this.

Wagamama house dressing

This house dressing is inspired by Wagamama’s famous Katsu curry side salad dressing. Packed full of flavour with shallots, soy + garlic, this is the perfect dressing for any salad. Suitable for vegans

I really enjoyed this and will use it loads. I had it on some rice noodles with one of my meals and it was great.

Fruit-tella Out In Space

These delicious Fruittella Jellies in Moon, Planet and Rocket shapes are so nice. They come in Pineapple, Strawberry & Peach flavours. We love jelly sweets in our house.

Ryvita Crackerbread Original

Gosh, I’ve not had crackerbreads for years. I used to eat them all the time. They’re great for snack and you can put almost anything on top of them.

Mission Plain XL Wraps

My son is going through a big wrap obsession at the moment so he ate most of these! They’re so big! Great for making burritos, natchos or fajitas!

Garofalo Rigatoni Pasta

Rigatoni is a large tubular pasta shape, perfect for chunky sauces and baked pasta dishes. I found it took a little longer than expected to cook but it was delicious. It’s very thick and filling so you don’t need as much as you would expect.

Mutti Passata Tuscany

Mutti Passata from the Tuscany region is made using only the highest quality Rossoro tomatoes from Tuscany, harvested at peak ripeness and processed within 24 hours. I had this with the pasta above and it was a great combo!

Green Cola & Green Lemonade

This is a healthier, more natural and tastier soft drinks. And bonus – there’s no aspartame! Though I have to admit that the cola wasn’t actually that nice. I wanted to like it but it tasted like a cheap rola cola.

No Added Sugar Granola

I love granola. And this was no exception. The wholegrain oats are baked to perfection, creating the most satisfying crispy and crunchy golden clusters. This didn’t even last week in our house!

  1. This looks like a box that my husband and I would enjoy trying as we pretty much eat things like this already. We have the Mission wraps but the whole wheat low-carb versions which taste just the same as the “normal” ones. I like the sound of the curry kit and the pasta sauce too! This is such a cool subscription box!

  2. So many yummy goodies. I haven’t tried the fruitella gummies they look so good! Thank you for sharing what is in your Degustabox.
