This weekend we took a day trip to Filey Beach. Filey Beach is one of the many beautiful beaches on the Yorkshire coast. It is a hidden gem in North Yorkshire that is the perfect seaside getaway for families and beach lovers. Filey Brigg

And if you have a toddler who loves throwing pebbles into the sea, they’ll love the beach closest to the Brigg.

The first part of the walk goes from Filey to Scarborough and is 10.5 miles, which is doable in a day.

Parking and Facilities at Filey Beach
We parked at Country Car Park which is a great location to see views of the coastline and walk down the Brigg
The address is Country Park Caravan Site, Filey YO14 9ET and you can pay at the pay and display machines or the Ringo app.
Though it is difficult to get down to the beach from here with a pushchair and would be impossible with a wheelchair as there are steep ramps and stairs. Other car parks may be better!
There is publish toilets on the beach near the mini-golf. They cost 40p to get in, but when we went the barriers were open so there was no charge.
Dog-Friendly Beaches and Seasonal Restrictions

There were lots of dogs on the pebbled beach near the bring when we went!
