I’ve had the April Degustabox for a few weeks now and I’m ready to tell you my thoughts on this month’s box!
About Degustabox
Degustabox is a monthly subscription box service that delivers a selection of food and drink products to subscribers each month. The company was founded in Spain in 2012 and has since expanded to several countries, including the UK, the US, and Germany.
Each Degustabox contains a mix of food and drink items, including snacks, beverages, cooking ingredients, and more. The selection of products in each box varies each month, but the company strives to include a mix of both well-known brands and up-and-coming products from smaller, independent companies.

Subscribers can choose from different subscription plans, including monthly, three-month, six-month, or annual plans. The boxes are delivered directly to subscribers’ homes or offices, and shipping is included in the subscription price.
Degustabox also offers a loyalty program that allows subscribers to earn points for their subscriptions and for sharing their boxes on social media. These points can then be redeemed for discounts on future boxes or for free products.
Degustabox is a great choice for anyone looking to discover new and exciting food and drink products from a variety of brands and companies. The monthly subscription service offers convenience and variety, and the opportunity to try new products that may not be available in local stores.
April Degustabox

Maggi So Juicy
This Butter Chicken Herbs and Spices Recipe Mix and Sweet Chilli Halloumi Herbs and Spices Recipe Mix. These look really good, I’ve been trying to eat a plant-based diet lately so I’m wondering if I can make this plant-based! Though the butter one has milk in it, I’m not banning animal products 100% but just trying to avoid it where possible.

Punchy Drinks Blood Orange
This was really nice! I had it straight from the fridge out in the garden while my toddler was playing and it was a refreshing pick-me-up.

Idahoan Perfect Mash Cheddar
I’m not sure how I feel about instant mash. Something inside me is seriously against it. I feel it deep within my bones. But there is a time and a place for this. I used to eat Smash all the time at university. The cheese and onion one. I’d cover it with curry sauce or BBQ sauce. Make’s me shudder when I think about it now but it was an easy, cheap and convenient way to make mash.

Plantastic
Very excited about these.
- Plantastic Protein Boost Satay Noodles with Sweet Red Pepper
- Plantastic Cajun Rice With Tomato & Pepper
They’re so easy to make. They would be ideal for taking out and about with you, or if you’re going away. Especially if you’re plant-based and not sure if they’ll be good options for you.
At home, I’d probably eat the cajun rice over a side salad and the satay noodles with some veg.

Serious Pig
My husband and I both were not a fan of the Serious Pig Crunchy Snacking Cheesem and we are big cheese fans. It was a very intense flavour. Maybe mixing it with crackers or something would work better but on their own, they are not really that nice.

Yogi Tea Detox Organic
Usually don’t bother with tea like this but I have been giving it a go lately and it’s been okay. Mostly because I can’t drink tea with alternate milk, coffee works for but tea, no thanks. I’ve still been having some tea with cow’s milk but I’ve reduced it. I’ve been having tea like this once a day instead. I love liquorice and cinnamon – this smells delicious.

Double Dutch Cranberry & Ginger Tonic
My husband really enjoyed this. He pair it with gin over ice and said it was a really nice combination of flavours.

Misson wraps
I love these little wraps. We used them to make some plant-based jerk ‘chicken’ wraps with a packet mix that was in a previous Degustabox. I always enjoy wraps like this. They’re also ideal for lunch with salad, homous and falafel.
- Mission Original Mini Wraps
- Mission Wheat & White Mini Wraps

Coco Pops Chocos
Not tried these yet as we still have other cereal open, but I’m sure my husband will eat most of it!

Chupa Chups Mini Bag
I’ve found these mini lollipops great for when I get a sweet craving. Espcially on an evening!
Remember you can get £3 off your own Degustabox with the discount code: P1B7T!
I love a good food subscription box – I’m really picky with food but most of this does appeal to me and Oskar would love the crunchy cheese!
Looks like a good box! The blood Orange drink sounds nice. Have you tried tea with oat milk?
Every time I read one of your Degusta Box reviews I am tempted to buy one myself. I’m a bit fussy though so I feel that a lot would get wasted :/ but I do like the sound of the Plantastic protein boost as I am trying to gain weight. I hope they start selling them at a supermarket near me 🙂
Looks like you have a good selection of items from this box. I would love to try the Yogi Tea.
This looks like a great selection for you and your family! I want to try the Punchy drink in particular. Thanks for sharing x
Thanks for the helpful review of the April 2023 DegustaBox! Your thoughts on each item were insightful. Love me some coco pops they always a winner.
Love your smash recipes! Haha. We’ve tried the cheese bite things too and thought the same. We got them weirdly in a coffee subscription box? But yeah, way too intense for me! X
I always love your Degusta reviews, every time I read one I always think “I need to buy one of these”!
Rosie
I’d love to try those Snacking Cheese and those satay noodles! x
