This month marks 8 years since I started working with Degustabox! How amazing is that? 8 years of fantastic new foods to try and love! It’s been so much fun working with Degustabox and really has encouraged me to try new things that I would just walk straight past in the supermarket!

So let’s get on with the February Degustabox!

Degustabox January 2022
Roasted Hazelnut Chocolate bar

Roasted Hazelnut Chocolate bar

First up is the Prodigy chocolate bar. I loved this chocolate bar so much! Half the sugar but still delicious. It doesn’t lack any flavour and is just as tasty as normal chocolate.

Sauce Sachets Multipack

Sauce Sachets Multipack

This pack contained lots of different sauces, oils and other bits with a booklet on how to best use them. I love Chinese food and doing stir-fries and things. They’re such simple, easy to make meals packed with veg!

Get More Vits - Vitamin B12 Pink Grapefruit drink

Get More Vits – Vitamin B12 Pink Grapefruit drink

It’s always handy to have drinks like this around for when you need to grab one on the go! This crisp and refreshing Pink Grapefruit flavoured water not only tastes delicious but contains 5μg of vitamin B12 per bottle. That’s 200% of your recommended daily amount. Vitamin B12 helps reduce tiredness and fatigue and it supports the immune and nervous systems.

Nine - Dark Choc Orange

Nine – Dark Choc Orange

I love Nine bars! I have been a long time fan of theirs and used to buy them a lot for snacks at work. I’ve not tried this one yet but it’s in the baby changing bag for a snack when I need it!

9 benefits in every bar:
Immune supporting seeds
Contains natural ingredients
High in fibre
100% plant protein
High in Vitamin E
Source of magnesium
Gluten and wheat free
Vegan
Source of Vitamin B1

Mutti - Polpa Finely Chopped Tomatoes

Mutti – Polpa Finely Chopped Tomatoes

These are a cupboard staple for sure. These ones are really fresh and are processed within 24 hours of harvesting to capture the taste of freshly picked 100% Italian sun-ripened tomatoes.

Dr Wills Squeezy Bottle Tomato Ketchup

Dr Wills Squeezy Bottle Tomato Ketchup

This all-natural ketchup is quite rich. It does taste a lot different to Heinz and other ‘tomato sauce’. It is more of a purée consistency and packs a lot of flavours. It is a lot better for you than standard tomato sauce but it took me a few times to start enjoying it properly as I’m used to Heinz’s which is smoother and tastes more like vinegar than this sauce does.

Quinola - Corn Pulses & Quinoa Crackers

Quinola – Corn Pulses & Quinoa Crackers

Super-tasty, nutritious crackers that are packed with goodness. I had them with cream cheese as a bit of a picky dinner with another few bits and they were delicious.

Linwoods Cold Milled Flax Seeds

Linwoods Cold Milled Flax Seeds

There are so many benefits of flax seeds. They are high in protein, high in omega 3 and fibre, plus lots of other nutrients. They’re ideal for sprinkling over cereal, oats, yoghurts or even in a smoothie.

I must admit that I’ve bought flax seeds a few times before but never end up using them as my health kick is normally short lived!

Harvest Snaps - Sour Cream and Chive Lentil ring

Harvest Snaps – Sour Cream and Chive Lentil ring

Regulars of this blog will know I’m hardly ever impressed by ‘healthy’ versions of crisps. But I LOVED these and they are my favourite item in this months box. There’s just so much flavouring on them and I could have eaten the whole bag in one go! I don’t think I’ve ever hated a sour cream and chive flavoured crisp in my life!

Eat Natural - Low Sugar Granola Wholegrain Oats, Almonds and Seeds

Eat Natural – Low Sugar Granola Wholegrain Oats, Almonds and Seeds

This healthy granola is packed full of things that are good for you! Coconut nectar blossom, which brings a natural sweetness to plump whole grain oats, whole toasted almonds, crunchy buckwheat and creamy sunflower seeds. A generous scattering of toasted coconut shavings adds natural fibre.

They must know I’m on a health kick! Yum! I’ve been eating this for the past week or so instead of my usual toast and cream cheese.

Califia Farms - Oat Barista

Califia Farms – Oat Barista

I’ve never been a fan of milk alternatives! But this is meant to steam really well so I wish I used it in the coffee machine. Instead, my partner drank it directly from a pint glass.

So that’s this months box!

  1. What a fun box of goodies! My husband and I have been on a health food craze lately and have begun to really revamp our cabinets. I’ll have to look into getting one of these boxes at some point to try out some different options!

  2. What a varied bunch of goodies! I love the sound of the chocolate you mentioned first. I really need to hold back on the choccie at the moment, but if this has got half the sugar that wouldn’t make me feel as bad. Haha. I really like the sound of the vitamin drink too. I could definitely do with adding more goodness to my diet. X

  3. I don’t think there’s anything here that I wouldn’t like! I used to be the same with flaxseed but just add it to porridge now which makes it so easy to use up!

  4. These boxes seem like such a good idea, especially the b12 drink! More and more people seem to be suffering from b12 deficiency these days so it’s nice to see some supplements out there

  5. I always love reading peoples posts of what they get in these boxes! They always look so good! 🙂
