Another Christmas is over! I’ve done blog posts about my Christmas for years now. I love reading back at them all. Here are all my other posts:

So here we are, our second Christmas with Leo! It was much more exciting this year as he’s older now. He was 4 weeks old last Christmas and he just cried all day. This Christmas he’s been able to play with toys and has Christmas dinner with us.

We invited my partners mum and sister for Christmas. They live far away so they stayed for a few days. On Christmas Eve we all went into York for a bit of shopping and a meal. We went to Las Iguanas for some delicious food and wandered the streets of York for a bit.

Christmas day was relaxed. We opened presents in the morning, then ate dinner late afternoon and just played with Leo and watched a bit of TV. This is how I like Christmas to be. Just go with the flow!

Leo has had a cold which hasn’t been very nice so he was up coughing a lot at night so I was really tired over Christmas this year. I feel like I should sleep for days now haha.

On Boxing Day, my family came over and we had a bit of a get-together and food. It was nice as we’ve not all been together like that since summer 2020 because of Covid.

  1. It sounds like you had a vert jolly Christmas. The tree looks lovely. I like his rocking horse/giraffe! Have to say that as a music teacher, I’m cringing at the wooden beater on the tambourine! In school that would result in a broken drum skin and a very cross me! So many broken tambourines due to hitting with the incorrect implement!

  2. Oh these photos are so cute! I’ve never been to Las Iguanas but I’ve always heard such good things about their food! Looks like you had lovely Christmas, happy new year!

  3. Looks like such a lovely Christmas, I loved that we got to spend lots of family time this year and weren’t restricted to one household!
