AD| Hello! I was gifted the Degustabox Advent Calendar this year and I’ve been so excited about it. I’ve always wanted a different advent calendar one year. I always just have the normal chocolate ones. It pains me to spend a lot on something that you don’t know what’s inside so I’ve been a bit reluctant to spend money on them as I’m trying to be sensible with money.
Anyway, the Degustabox Advent Calendar has been brilliant! There’s a variety of products – drinks, snacks, condiments and other food bits! Here’s what was inside this delicious food advent calendar.
Here’s what was inside:

Degustabox Advent Calendar 2021

1 Daelmans Stroopwafels
These came with a waffle warmer. You put them over your coffee cup so the warmth of your drink makes the caramel inside go softy and melty. They are so tasty! We have ours by our coffee machine and I have one every so often when I fancy a snack.

2 Maille wholegrain mustard
This will come in handy for us, we’re bound to have a ham joint at some point over Christmas and this wholegrain mustard goes lovely with it. It’s such a great texture and taste with roast meats!

3 Crafted Mango & Passion Fruit Juice Drink
This is an award-winning fruity drink which is 1 of your 5 a day. It’s lovely on its own or in a cocktail. they’ve got no added sugar or sweeteners and are vegan!

4 Little Miss Sunshine Jellies
These are watermelon and piña colada jelly sweets which are a great treat that tastes a bit different from the norm!

5 Bart Warming Winter Spice
This spice is great to use in cooking and baking for a festive touch to any dish. It’s got cassia, coriander, ginger, cloves, nutmeg and orange peel in.

6 Rhythm 108 Mint Foondant Bar
This is AMAZING! I couldn’t stop eating it, it basically tastes like After Eights. It’s vegan but you wouldn’t know it. This is one of my favourites in the Degustabox Advent Calendar.

7 Mentos Candy Cane
This limited edition festive flavour is in vanilla mint. It’s a three-pack and it’s in festive packaging! I love mints and I’m the type of person that will just eat them one after another. These did not last long..

8 & 9 Rummo Fusilli & Sauce
The Rummo fusilli is made from top quality durum wheat. It tasted really delicious with the pasta sauce which is made with the finest Italian ingredients. This was a lifesaver for us as there was a night where I forgot to plan a meal, so this fit in perfectly!

10 King Monty
This plant-based snack was so delicious. I basically ate it immediately.

11 Olly’s Prerzel Thins
Wow, these things don’t half have a bite to them. The sweet chilli ones do burn a bit and they have so much flavour on so it was like an explosion on my tongue!
They are oven-baked so have less fat/calories and more protein. Hurrah!

12 Minivino
This is a vegan wine that you can drink straight from the cup. The plastic is fully recyclable. But I have to say, it still does feel like a bit of a waste of plastic use! I wasn’t blown away by the wine, it was like a standard house red. I was a bit disappointed with this one, I’m afraid! It was the only alcohol item in the advent calendar, too!

13 Le Saunier de Camargue
These salt flakes are great to enhance your food over the festive season. The flakes are the result of a special form of crystallisation at the surface of the seawater.

14 Terry’s Chocolate Orange
These don’t need any introduction. We all love a chocolate orange! Yum!

15 Good Earth Rooibos Chai Tea
I’ve not had rooibos for ages but I used to drink it loads! I’m really excited to try this chai version. Chia is such a delicious and warming winter drink with spices such as cinnamon, ginger and cardamom. It’s caffeine-free too! Woo!

16 Kind Dark Chocolate Orange Almond
These bars are drizzled with dark chocolate and have zesty orange peel. I’ve not tried this one yet but I’ve tried other Kind bars and they’re delicious!

17 Arden’s Cheesy Tiny Twists
These puff pastry twists are perfect for this time of year. Great for that boxing day party food with dip. I think Leo will like one or two of these, too!

18 Fused by Fiona
We go through soy sauce like mad in our house. My partner loves it and has it on everything, so when I saw this I sent a photo of it straight to him. This is a naturally brewed soy sauce that has only 4 ingredients.

19 Whitworths Caramel Fruity & Nut Mix
I’ve worked with Whitworths in the past with the ‘shots’ they used to do – small shot sized packets of fruit, nuts and chocolate. I know I’m going to love this caramel fruit and nut mix. It gives you a burst of flavour and it is healthier than reaching for that tub of Hero’s over Chriistmas!

20 Mackie’s Boxing Day Curry Crisps
I’m not sure if I’ve had this brand before but curry flavoured crisps ticks all the boxes for me.

21 Forest Feast Dark Chocolate Sour Cherries
These are vegan, gluten-free, and I ate them all in one go. Oops!

22 Flawsome! Drinks Sweet & Sour Apples
These are made from wonky apples that would have otherwise gone to waste. This apple juice is cold-pressed and has nothing else added.

23 Strawberry and Champagne Preserve
This strawberry preserve has all the classic flavours plus the added joy of champagne notes. Perfect for Christmas when we want something a bit extra special.

24 Bahlsen Messino Pink Gin & Tonic
I’ve tried some amazing varieties of Bahlsen over the years I’ve been getting Degustabox and I cannot wait to open this packet. They have a filling that tastes like pink gin and tonic. Yum.
So that was the Degustabox advent calendar for 2021! What advent calendar did you have this year?
You have an excellent variety of goodies here. Pasta, sweets and everything in between.
Wow!!!!! What an advent calendar. Love the snacks that comes with it. Have a good celebration tomorrow.
Looks like an amazing mixture! I love the look of the winter spice mix 🙂 x
My previous advent calendar was a chocolate one packed with truffles and chocolate coated nuts, but this one looks amazing and I am sorry I did not have the chance to try it out. I have so many favorites from your review that I want to try now, but the ones that stood out to me are the strawberry preserves, mints, caramel nut mix, pink gin & tonic, tiny twists, chocolates, and the granola mix.
Thanks for sharing!
What an amazing variety of stuff — all of which looks amazing! I would love something like this as pretty much everything that you shared I would really enjoy!
This calendar looks great. Fun mix of goodies.

I love a foodie advent calendar, because what is best than opening and finding food inside? Love the idea of the waffles and the kind bars are always a treat! The soy sauce is a must try, at ours too we use soy sauce almost like water, so we absolutely need to try this!
