It’s not long now until Halloween and I’ve been looking around for some Halloween home decor ideas. I did try to buy some little pumpkins to put on my kitchen shelves form the supermarket but they didn’t have them in stock. Very sad!
I’m always so torn when it comes to this stuff as I hate wasting on money on things that I won’t use for long, but then again I want the cute pumpkins and Halloweem decorations in my home! It would be fun to decorate for Leo when he’s older, so I guess I should start collecting some Halloween decorations. I love the idea of getting a couple of new things each year.
We won’t be doing anything for Halloween this year, but in the future we will be caving pumpkins, watching scary (children’s!) movies and using it as an excuse to do something fun with our boy. He will be almost two next year so will understand a bit more about what is going on.
I’ve never been that bothered about Halloween as it wasn’t something we did as a child, but I’m excited to make some memories with Leo.
I’d love to hear if you have any Halloween traditions in the comments below!

We don’t really do Halloween in Australia so we don’t decorate for it but I love seeing all the autumn decoration ideas around from the US now – they look so cosy! Halloween is spring here so dark colours and cosy things doesn’t really make sense for decorating here, hehe 🙂
Hope your week is going well 🙂

Hi Corinne,
Some excellent Halloween home decor ideas there. I wonder if the scented candles can over-power the occasional smell of damp dog in our house 🙂
