AD| Love it when it’s time for my favourite food subscription box to arrive! The Degustabox August edition has been with me a few weeks now and we’ve been working our way through the products. Let’s see what’s inside this months box.

August Degustabox

shreddies from Degustabox august

Shreddies – The Simple One

I’ve had these before when they were on offer with one of my shopping cashback apps, they’re fab and only have 4 ingredients:

  • whole grain wheat
  • banana puree
  • date syrup
  • a pinch of salt.
oreo from Degustabox august 2021

Original Oreo

What can you say about oreos? They’re a classic. I have to be honest and say I’ve never been a massive fan of them. They’re kind of hyped as being an American food I think? I’d much befer a good old bourbon or hobob.

Up &Go Banana and Honey 250ml

Up & Go Banana and Honey 250ml

I haven’t tired these yet but I will soon! I often wake up hungry but don’t have time to eat right away because *parenting* so I’m sure these will make a nice filler until I get the chance.

Gifflar Cinnamon Rolls degustabox

Gifflar Cinnamon Rolls

What’s not to like about cinnomon rolls? We had these when we fancied a little snack in the middle of the day. My partner had most though, I sadly saw the empty packet in the bin after only having a couple! Story of my life.

Choc Chip Swirl Peanut Butter

Skippy Choc Chip Swirl Peanut Butter

I mean, is there any better pairing than peanut butter and chocolate? I don’t think so. Perfect on toast for a tasty, chocolatey treat!

Rustico Cirio Pasta Sauce Degustabox

Rustico Cirio Pasta Sauce

I cannot wait to try these Cirio Pasta Sauce Ragùs. They are a range of unique rustic style pasta sauces made with 100% Italian meat and tomatoes plus extra virgin olive oil.

We have pasta about once a week so this will be used very soon. And don’t worry, I’ll add chorizo for sure!

Nescafe Gold Iced Salted Caramel Latte

Nescafe Gold Iced Salted Caramel Latte

This is an iced latte! Whih I was a bit sad about to start with as I love the hot lattes by Nescafe so now I’m waiting for a warm day to enjoy this but I think summer is over now!

Knorr Zero Salt Vegetable Stock Cube

Knorr Zero Salt Vegetable Stock Cube

Not used these yet but we will. I love how they’ve got no salt i them as it’s perfect for weaning Leo!

cliff bar degustabox august

ClifBar White Chocolate Macadamia / Crunchy Peanut Butter

These were delicious, they are plant-based bar made with wholesome ingredients like rolled oats,. They’re such a tasty energy bar, these mini versions are great for a small snack!

freeze dried strawberries degustabox

5th Season Straberry bites

I’m not a massive fan of freeze dried fruit, but thet are good for on the go snacks.

twek sour supreme

Swet sour jellys

I love jelly sweets so these were a welcome treat in the August Degustabox!

  1. I have this box, it’s the best! I love the cinnamon rolls and Oreos. They are all gone! I seem to have a lot of peanut butter from recent boxes and don’t really use it. It’s a great selection to get! It’s like Christmas each month!

  2. Mm, the curation in this box is making me hungry! I love Cliff bars and Oreos and often pick up the former when I am in town for a snack later in the day, especially if I have been busy and need a little pick-me-up.

The iced latte and cinnamon rolls also look so good, but the Shreddies sound amazing! Only four ingredients but I can taste them already.
    Thanks for sharing!

  3. i just live for these posts!! aaaaggghh! you’re so lucky you have this wonderful sponsorship, c!!

also, thanks for the lovely comments. it was actually the ads i had running that were crashing browsers and flagging people’s anti-virus software whatnot. pretty mental. i had one person actually reach me via e-mail to tell me my site was continuously being flagged for “malware.” #shook

can’t help the 12 hour work life, too. money’s hella good and i guess, for that reason. lol. my life as a modern day slave—sounds like a bestseller or no?
