AD// I can’t believe it’s time for the June Degustabox! I love getting this food package each month, it’s so much fun trying new products. I’m the type of person that just buys the same things over and over again, so it’s refreshing to try new things!

Baked Crunchies // Paprika & Cheese review

Baked Crunchies // Paprika & Cheese

These are baked, gluten-free and contain all-natural ingredients.

I’m usually disappointed with healthy crisps as they tend to taste rubbish, but these were AMAZING. They have the same texture and crunch as Nik Naks and have such an intense and tasty flavour. You get quite a lot in the bag too so don’t end up feeling ripped off!

Playin Choc // JustChoc 30g review

Playin Choc // JustChoc 30g

This was amazing! Vegan chocolate is just getting better and better. It’s very rich but comes in 3 small packets so you can graze on it! The packaging is plastic-free, 100% recyclable and zero waste, and our ingredients are all ethically sourced.

Xite Energy // Raspberry & Watermelon review

Xite Energy // Raspberry & Watermelon

Sugar-free and vegan-friendly, I think I’ll be saving this for one of those nights when Leo refuses to sleep!

9Nine Bar review

9Nine Bar

I’m a long term fan of Nine bars and used to buy them all the time, but they stopped doing my favourite flavour at my local Tesco.

Sunflower, Pumpkin, Flax and hemp seeds are the nutritional force behind every bar and with at least 50% seeds in every single bar. They are so delicious and just full of goodness! I love the white choc and raspberry flavour!

5 Second Kimchi seasoning review

5 Second Kimchi seasoning

I’ve never tried Kimchi before but will probably try this on some chips or noodles! I love trying new seasonings.

Garlic & Herb Sauce 250ml Squeeze review

Garlic & Herb Sauce 250ml Squeeze

This is not going to go to waste in our house! We love garlic sauce, can’t wait to try it!

Carr's // Melts Black Olive review

Carr’s // Melts Black Olive

Love olives. Love crackers. I hear a cheese and alcohol-free wine night calling me in the not too distant future!

Coconut Collaborative Little Pots review

Coconut Collaborative Little Pots

These are amazing! They are plant-based and made from coconut. You can taste the coconut in them but they are so rich! It’s like a thick chocolate yoghurt as if it’s melted chocolate or something. I love them. Please send me more.

Lemon Drizzle flavour // McVities Milk Chocolate Digestives review

Lemon Drizzle flavour // McVities Milk Chocolate Digestives

Honestly, I would have not have picked these up in the supermarket if I had seen them on the shelf. Lemon and chocolate together don’t sound very appealing to me, but actually, these were so nice!

Sun-Pat EXTRA Salted Caramel review

Sun-Pat EXTRA Salted Caramel

This is loaded with caramel-coated peanuts and packed with salted caramel flavour. Sounds amazing! I’m not a massive peanut butter eater but I love caramel flavoured things. I’m sure my partner and I will fight over this.

6 Wholemeal Folded Flatbreads review

6 Wholemeal Folded Flatbreads

With just 14.6g of carbohydrates per wrap Deli Kitchen’s new Carb Lite Wraps are the perfect guilt-free option for lunch. I have wraps all the time, I love having them with falafel and houmous, or with cheese and chorizo melted in the microwave. They make the perfect quick lunch!

Caleño // Light and Zesty from degustabox june 2021 review

Caleño // Light and Zesty

A lively distilled blend of Inca berry, pineapple, papaya, coriander, juniper berry, green cardamom & lemon peel –
twisted with a naturally light tonic. I’m drinking this now as I’m typing this post. It is a bit bitter/sour so not something I’m a fan of, the lemon tastes a bit overpowering. Would love it if there was a touch of sweetness in it!

That’s your lot from this months Degustabox review!

  1. The Baked Crunchies sound lovely! I’ll admit, I’m ALWAYS disappointed by healthier crisp alternatives too. None of them ever have enough flavour or live up to the original! But these sound fab and I love the sound of the flavour too. That garlic and herb mayo lives permanently in our fridge – I freaking LOVE that stuff!

  2. The cheesy baked crunchies are some of my favourites, they remind me of a very similar italian snack we call Fonzies. Definitely less healthier than these haha! Those lemon drizzle digestives are quite intriguing…

  3. My mouth was watering a little bit while reading this, I have to admit! All these snacks and treats sound so good. I’m especially interested in the corn snacks, the garlic & herb sauce, and the digestives. Great box of goodies!

  4. What a great box with so many different things to try! I’m really drawn to all the chocolate based things of course, haha! I’ve such a sweet tooth!

Hope your week is off to a good start 🙂 We went to a theme park yesterday with the kids, so much fun!
