AD- Gifted| Time for Degustabox again! One of my favourite days of the month is when the delivery driver walks up my path holding a Degustabox! I love a good Degustabox review and trying all the products each month is so much fun! So let’s dive in, shall we?
Degustabox Review May 2021
Brioche Rolls – Brioche Pasquier
These Brioche Rolls are soft, fluffy, light and great for both sweet and savoury recipes. Personally, I am not a fan of brioche. My biggest bugbear is when you order a tasty burger from somewhere and it comes in a Brioche bun! I just want normal bread, weh!
Degustabox features Brioche Pasquier a lot and though it’s not something I like or buy, my partner usually ends up eating them! This was my least favourite product in this Degustabox. But it gets better from here!
Smoky barbecue crunch – Graze
I had it as a snack between dinner and tea one night and it was a great alternative to crisps. Lots of flavours. I enjoyed.
Rose Seltzer Strawberry & Blueberry – Echo Falls
The new Echo Falls rosé seltzers (4.5% ABV) come in at 69 calories per can and are available in three refreshing
flavours: Blueberry & Hibiscus, Strawberry & Pink Pepper, and Raspberry, Lychee & Rose. These lightly flavoured
seltzers are the perfect summer tipple, available in Asda and independent stores.
These sound really tasty! I would love to try the Blueberry one! I’m not currently drinking but might put this in the back of the cupboard and have it as a treat in the summer on a sunny afternoon in the garden!
Organic Sparkling Lemon – Pip
Pip Organic Sparkling Lemon is a refreshing blend of not from concentrate organic fruit juices and sparkling water
containing absolutely no added sugar or sweeteners. At under 75kcal, this piptastic drink counts as 1 of your 5-a-day
as well as giving you a refreshing tingle to your tastebuds!
This drink was delicious! It was so refreshing and really did give my tastebuds a tingle. If I was at the pub and saw they had this, I’d deffo go for it as an alcohol-free alternative.
Cocoa vanilla protein bites – Graze
These Cocoa vanilla protein oat bites have 45% less sugar than the average cereal bar, are high in fibre, are a source of protein, suitable for vegans and made from whole rolled oats.
These are something I buy regularly, they’re often at half price at Tesco and I love them so much. I have one a day when we have them in!
Hershey’s Cookies n Creme
In my opinion, this is the best Hershey’s bar there is! I love the white chocolate with the cookie crunch. I tried to have this in two halves but went back for more. Oops!
Mini Caramelised Cookies – Not Too Naughty
These were yum! Reminded me a bit of biscotti mixed with baby rusk. Which isn’t a bad thing as I love both! I really enjoyed these when I had a sweet craving!
Dessert Pastilles – Rowntree’s
Inspired by delicious vegan fruity desserts, try the irresistible taste of Rowntree’s® Dessert Pastilles. They contain 4 flavours: Cherry Bakewell, Blueberry Pie, Apple Crumble and Mango Sorbet.
These were my favourite product of the month. I loved each one, they had such a unique taste and the cherry Bakewell was amazing!
Cheese & Smoky Chipotle Oat Cakes – Nairn’s
Cheese & Chipotle is an exciting new flavour, but they still have all of the benefits that you expect from Nairn’s
Oatcakes. Packed with fibre to keep your gut healthy, full of vitamins and minerals and a great source of slow-releasing energy.
I’ve not tried these yet but will when we have a cheese board – which we have quite often! I love cheese and chipotle so I know I’ll love these.
Vinaigrette Salad Dressing – Hellmann’s
Hellmann’s Fat-Free Original salad dressing is a delicious classic recipe combining herbs, garlic and red peppers.
With only 7 calories per tablespoon, this fat-free vinaigrette is perfect for creating tasty, healthy dishes. It is made with no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives and is suitable for vegans.
We use this all the time already! We have salads a few times a week so this is very welcome in our household!
Chilli Kicks – Hippeas
HIPPEAS tortilla chickpea snacks are vegan, gluten-free, and contain 7g of protein and 2g of fibre per single-serve bag (40g).
This was the first thing I ate out of the box and loved it! It has a good amount of flavour on each chip and I could have eaten more for sure!
Protein by Nature Mexican Spicy Grains – Whitworths
Protein by Nature is a range of beans, pulses and grains that are naturally nutritious, ready-to-heat vegan pouches packed full of 20g plant protein and goodness, with flavours inspirations from around the world! Protein by Nature Mexican Spicy Grains can be enjoyed on their own or to spice up fajitas.
I had this with butternut squash below and it was tasty but did need a bit more flavour adding to it!
Extra Virgin Olive Oil Spray – Bertolli
Our Bertolli Extra Virgin Olive Oil Spray is perfect to add a fruity aroma to dishes like salads, marinades, and pasta.
Made using only 100% extra virgin olive oil and no additives, the spray is propellant-free, using only pure air to
dispense evenly the right amount of oil needed.
I know we will use these loads, I’ve already used it on this butternut squash above but will be great for potato fries and the like!
Rosemary & onion – Knorr Seasoning Mixes
Knorr Seasoning Blends creates a delicious, no added salt plant-based dish. It’s ideal for sweet potato, salad,
roasted vegetables, vegetable stew, delicious sauce, tasty soup or any other exciting dish you want to try.
This worked great with the butternut squash and I know it will be great with sweet potato wedges, we usually put rosemary on them already! It’s delicious.
That’s your lot from this months Degustabox review!

I’ve always wanted to try a Degusta box! Sounds like a great way to try some new things. I love the sound of the dessert pastilles and the Not Too Naughty cookies!
This was such a great box! I have always been interested in trying it after your reviews, so I really need to give it a chance! That rosè seltzer and dessert pastilles sound like a must-try! x
I am seriously impressed with this box after every post you create. I haven’t had a good brioche for the longest time! Yummy!
Rosie
I’d love to try that oil spray bottle! I have a squeeze bottle for oil but sometimes it’s nice to use even less. Thanks for the rundown!
A great selection in May’s Degusta box, I’d love to try all of these foods! x

Realy cool subscription box! I never considered one just for snacks, but this one looked really neat. The smokey bbq graze looked particularly good. Yummy!

I love the sound of all of this, especially the echo falls wine! Great post and review x
What an awesome box of delicious treats – both savory and sweet! That’s so much fun. I’m glad you got a chance to try so many things and see what you like and might purchase again. I’ve tasted a few of these myself and can definitely say that I love them too!
Awesome suggestions! I definitely want to try the Hershey’s cookie and cream and the Dessert Fruit Pastels!
Appreciate you putting this list together. Currently my favorite are “Hippeas.” Thank you for sharing this post.
I’ve been using oil spray for years, it’s so handy. I like Hippeas too. I haven’t tried Whitworths grains, but I’d love to. It seems like a very interesting box this month.
Amazing selection, hun!! The ones that caught my eye have to be the Hippeas tortilla (my favourite crisp brand!), the Pip Organic (it sounds super refreshing!) and the salad dressing (anything to help me eat more salad!). Hopefully I can find those 3 items when I’m shopping!

The Mexican grains sounds absolutely incredible! The echo falls drink is right up my street too – I’ve heard really good things about it! Looks like a fab box x
Ahh I haven’t had a degustabox for years!
This one looks really good and jam packed with some newer things I haven’t tried – definitely on the look out for the fruit pastilles
