It’s been a week now since I started my healthy eating kick in a bid to lose some of my pregnancy weight! I’m now 13 and a half weeks postpartum.
Last week went well, I was able to go to the gym on Monday as my partner was on a holiday from work, I also went on Sunday. I couldn’t workout Saturday as my partner had to work but I guess Monday made up for that.
I went on a walk with Leo on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. That’s 4 walks, woo. I would have gone on Thursday but Leo slept all afternoon. And you NEVER wake a sleeping baby if you don’t have to!
I’ve been finding eating easy, mostly because I’ve been eating more than I normally would on a diet as I am breastfeeding which burns about 500 calories extra a day.
I said I wasn’t going to track calories, but I did a few days when I was still hungry as it’s important I am eating enough so it doesn’t lower my milk supply. I’ve been posting what I’ve been eating on my Instagram account in my stories. I have a story highlight if you want to go back and see what I’ve been eating.
So, after a week I have lost 1.6lbs. I did measure last week but I’m not to check again until week 4.
