Hello hello.

Degustabox just got even more exciting now we’re on lockdown. What’s better than getting a random box of food at a time like this?

For now, Degustabox will still be going ahead and are confident that the April and May boxes will go ahead without too many issues. Deliveries may take a little longer. If you would like to get a box, you can get £5 off with the code: E1MWX from Degustabox.

Let’s see what’s in this box.

Singapore Curry – Naked Noodle

I love Naked Noodles, they’re a quick and easy light lunch with natural ingredients. I like to think of them as a healthy pot noodle!

Superior Sponge Flour Home Pride

With all this extra time on our hands, might as well get some baking in. Unsure what I’m going to make yet so any ideas are welcome!

Flamin’ Hot and Sizzling Steak Wotsits

Not part of my new plant-based diet I’m trying to follow but I could eat Flaming Hot Wotsits for hours!

Elderflower – Jubel Beer

This is vegan and gluten-free, woo. I had a tiny sip as I’m not really drinking and it was very refreshing. A nice twist from a normal beer.

Kaffir lime and ginger / Paprika & Sundried tomato

Going to use these in our new way of cooking a bunch of random stuff that’s at risk of going off – stick it all in a slow cooker for 8 hours. We did this with one of the ‘Lazy Slow Pastes’ from last months Degustabox and it was delicious!

White Smarties Buttons

Buttons filled with mini smarties <3

Pink G&T Highball Cocktails

Woo, zero % to go with my zero alcohol lifestyle. I’m saving this for a special occasion haha. I try to stay away from tonic as the quinine in it gives me a headache the next day!

Peanut Butter Marmite

Peanut butter with a marmite twist, also rich in B numbers. To be honest I couldn’t really taste the marmite in it but my boyfriend could!

30% less sugar hot chocolate – Cadbury

Hello, big hot chocolate fan here. I actually already have one of these that I bought myself. I love them in an evening instead of actual chocolate.

Oat Milkshake – Galaxy

I had a sip of this then left it in the fridge and my boyfriend drank it. Not happy. It was really tasty!

Pink peppercorns / floral aromatic Merchant Hearts & Garden 108 6cl Seedlip

Another one my boyfriend (sorry, he’s just come in demanding I address him as fiancé) had, he enjoyed it with the gin. Love all the different flavours of tonic water coming out lately.
The end!
