The Santa Maria della Salute is one of the many churches in Venice. It seems like every corner you turn, you end up looking at a church.
Building started in 1631 to commemorate the end of a plague that killed thousands, it took 56 years to complete. It’s a stunning building and it’s dome takes over the skyline of Venice.
It’s free to enter, so don’t miss a visit to this stunning church.
It looks so beautiful! Thank you for sharing! I’d really like to visit Venice one day and explore the beautiful buildings like this 🙂
Hope that you had a great weekend! We had our annual family photo with Santa for our Christmas cards on Saturday and then a playdate in the park on Sunday 🙂
