Hi again,
I’m back with another crap makeup reviews looooollll. I’m very sorry but I do not know much about makeup. I know I say this all the time, but I need you to know that this review is coming from the point of view of someone that isn’t a professional makeup artist, or even someone who is big on makeup.
For me, I just wear a bit of makeup on my eyes daily so I do not look dead. If I go out, then I may put a bit of BB cream on and some lip colour. But looks of makeup makes me feel a bit afraid when I look in the mirror and I am not a fan of when you can tell someone is wearing foundation. Light coverage only, please.
That being said, my current go-to palette is this Morph Palette. It’s so pretty and probably a bit wasted on me because I only use a few colours. That thing is massive though and I can’t take it to the gym.
I’ve been using an MUA palette but it’s a bit old now and the shades I use the most are hitting pan, so I decided to treat myself to a new one that I can stick in my gym back and use before heading to work.
I went to Tesco and had a look about and settled on this Sleek iDivine palette in Storm after being impressed with the pigmentation on the testers.
It’s a great all-rounder with colours for a simple day look and a more intense night look. The shadows are soft and there’s an assortment of shimmer and matte colours.
The applicator it comes with is a bit naff, I’m sure most people will just use a brush rather than the applicator pad stick things. I don’t know what they are really called.
This cost me 8 quid and I’m happy with it so far.
