On Saturday night we went to another one of our locals – The Plough Fulford. It’s a short walk from our house. I can’t tell you how good it is to have pubs within walking distance!
We went to The Plough which is a bit more established than The Bay Horse. The menu is a bit bigger and it’s always busier. We reserved our table a few days before.

We got two starters to share and they were massive! I could have just had that as my main, to be honest! I had the lamb shank special for my main and my boyfriend had a meat feast pizza. The lamb was lovely but the veg and potatoes weren’t great. The pizza was lovely, all stone baked! My boyfriend couldn’t eat it all, it was fairly big. They also do takeaways!
We’ve been back a few times since, and the Pizza is probably my favourite. It’s delicious, cooked in a pizza oven and I cant wait to go back to the Plough Fulford for more Pizza!
The Plough also has a lovely beer garden, pictures on the ceilings and lots of quirky signs!
Looks like a cool place. Love the decor.
