We went to the Beer on the Wye festival in 2017. We were in Crete for the 2018 one so couldn’t go.
It’s a beer and cider festival in Hereford with hundreds of beers and ciders to choose from. They also have a competition for the beer and cider makers. My boyfriends step-dad won last year with his cider and then went on to win national champion and got an award. Woo!
I tried around 7 or 8 beers, I was just drinking them in half-pints so I didn’t get too drunk!
We were there a long time, from 2 pm – 9 pm. It was so hot but we managed to get seats in the shade. It wasn’t too busy when we first got there, but at around 6 pm more people started piling in.
I bet there was a lot of sore heads the day after, thankfully mine wasn’t one of them!
