I know I’ve posted about Yak and Yeti in York before, but I feel like it needs about a million posts to express how good it is.
This is the third time we had been to the Gurkha restaurant in the centre of York, it won’t be the last.
On Saturday my boyfriend and I decided to go out for some food to celebrate. It’s been a long time since we’ve been out for a meal as we are trying to be a bit strict with money.
I always get the Everest Lamb, but this time I decided to get something different for my main.
I had my usual Lamb Momos to start with and for my main, I had Yak and Yeti beef. My boyfriend had buffalo to start and belly pork for his main.
The food is cooked to perfection and the spices and fresh herbs are so strong. My boyfriend said ‘I don’t want this to be over’ as he took the last bite.
I don’t drink anymore but decided to treat myself to a glass of red wine with the meal as I had reached my 2019 fitness goal of benching 40kg for 8 reps. Before and after we went to our favourite pub Eagle and Child where I had alcohol free beer.
Anyway, enough of the talking, let the pictures say it all.

The food looks and sound delicious! I love momos.
