This is the first place we ate out, outside of the hotel. I think it was our 3rd night we were in Hersonissos.
We wanted somewhere by the sea, which is what we got! Sadly, there wasn’t much of a sea breeze, so it was hot and humid!
To start with, we had the mussels to share. They came in a mustard sauce and were a little overcooked – but I find that seems to be a trend in Greece.
For mains, I had a traditional Greek dish – Prawn Saganaki. As you can see, the prawns were massive and meaty! The only downside to having prawns like this is you have to peel them yourself and they take ages to cool down! It was delicious, though.
My boyfriend had pork Gyros which isn’t pictured, but he loved it anyway.
This was a lovely little place to eat. Typically Greek and a great price!
