All Star Restaurant, Westfield London

All Star Restaurant, Westfield London

When I went to London, I visited the shopping centre, Westfield.

To be honest, I was really stressed out because I somehow found Grenfall tower and then discovered it was only a 30-minute walk from where I was. That wasn’t the stressful part though, that was nice because the walk was nice. It was sunny and I was on an adventure in the Big Apple. Wait, the big, ermm. I don’t know what the slang word for London is. Other than LANDAN. So let’s just go with that.

I was on an adventure in LANDAN. I found my way to the shopping centre and my plan was to wander about and the find some food. It was a struggle to get inside and in the end, I had to go through the multi-story car park. But that was nothing compared to what I was about to face.

I was looking for food. I was told there were lots. By Soohie, my friend. I kept seeing signs for ‘Resturants’ and they all seemed to go outside. I looked outside and there seemed to be nothing. I was hot and hungry and stressed and could not find any food.

Eventually, I went outside and stumbled across the All Star bar. I went in and asked for a table for one like the social butterfly I am and sat down.

It was a typical bar and grill. I decided to go for the vegan option. A Mexican tortilla burger with salad. I had a beer because that’s just the type of person I am.

It was around 1 pm and so quiet! I think that’s because nobody could find it but that was okay with me because the food came quickly and it was really tasty.

I was only there for about half an hour because the service was quick and also I realised I had made a mistake.

I thought the shopping centre was right by my hotel. But I looked on Google maps and realised that there are two shopping centres called Westfield and I was at the other one. On the other side of London. I needed to get two tubes to get to where I needed to be.

It was getting hotter and hotter and I went back to the shopping centre to find the exit.

This is where things got even worse. I could not find the exit. I was walking in circles. There were no exits. Everyone else seemed really happy and chilled because obviously, they had not realised that there were NO EXITS and that we would be trapped here forever. Yet.

I was still walking in circles and got so hot I had to stop and buy an ice-slush. It was getting very dramatic.

Eventually, I found a sign for the underground so followed it. I came out to an outside area, that you will never guess, lean in and listen close because this outside area was lined with loads and loads of places to eat and drink.

I then spent 40 minutes on the tube and got to my hotel late.

So, in short, All Star was nice, but I do not recommend the shopping centre. It made me want to die.

Oh no!!!!! Were you at the Shepherd’s Bush one rather than Stratford then or vica-versa? I really don’t enjoy big shopping centres like Westfield as I CAN’T. STAND. ALL. THE. SLOW. PEOPLE. WILL. THEY. JUST. GET. OUT. THE. WAY!!!! Also the natural light deficiency and the difficulty you had of finding an exit!
