I often get emails inviting me to events in London. Most of the time I refuse because it’s not worth me taking time off work and travelling from York to London to make it. But a few weeks ago an email arrived in my inbox that took me by surprise.
I re-read it a few times, wondering if this was for me. I was being invited to go to see Beyoncé and Jay-Z in London. VIP. With Debenhams treating me to an outfit.
I’ve had some pretty great blogging opportunities in my time, this one has to be one of the best!
I went to Debenhams the week before to pick a little black dress to wear for the night.
I was a little nervous as I didn’t know any of the other bloggers, but everyone was really nice! We were treated to a free bar, buffet food in the VIP area that we were free to walk in and out of during the concert.
The concert itself was amazing. I have to admit that I am not a big fan of Jay-Z, but the pair of them work so well together on stage. The music, the effects and the dancing were all so well put together. It was an amazing and entertaining performance.
