I’m forever looking for a cheaper alternative to the Naked 3 palette, so when I saw this Total Temptation palette by Maybelline, I wondered if it could be the one.
Full of rose, pink and brown shades with two highlighters, it looked promising.
The palette has both shimmers and matte shades, making it an ideal all-in-one palette for on the go. I bought this to put in my gym bag as I’m sick of packing and unpacking things and forgetting items.
So far I’ve forgotten: shoes, shower gel, a vest top and moisturiser. I figured it would be easier to have a toiletry and makeup bag for the gym to take the pressure off a bit!
Anyway, back to the palette..
Contrast. Definition. Total seduction. After all, opposites attract. Get the all-in-one Eyeshadow + Highlight Palette for eyes and cheeks from Total Temptation.
It’s with regret I must report the palette fell short of my expectation. It’s alright for an everyday palette, but if you’re looking for highly pigmented and long lasting eyeshadow, then this isn’t for you. The shimmers are average but the matte shades don’t show up much at all.
Another thing I didn’t like about it is the absence of a brush or applicator. As I had bought this for my gym bag, one in the palette would have come in handy!
As pretty as this palette looks, you’re probably best avoiding it.
