Hello, Ginnedcartree here.
Gin has become my new go-to drink. Not only is it tasty, but when paired with a slimline tonic, it’s a bit better on the waistline than wine. I’m going to make this a dead quick post because I know you probably want to just see the gin already and not have me waffle on and go on a tangent. So that’s what I’m going to do.
Okay, here goes.
one // two // three // four // five
Masons Tea Edition – after trying Masons Lavender gin, I’m keen to try it’s dryer older brother. It has fresh aniseed amongst the flavours which excites me.
Whitley Neill Blood Orange Gin – oh how nice does this sound? This is the part that got me: Distinct, deep orange aroma. Hints of spice (Cassia and coriander) Juniper notes complimenting the orange notes.
Poetic Fireside Gin – I love this just for the name. It sounds very romantic. Then I read about the mulled dried fruit and cranberries and wondered why this hasn’t appeared in my life yet.
Edinburgh Plum and Vanilla Gin – I love these two flavours and I have no idea what the two together will taste like, but I’m excited to find out.
Zymurgorium Sweet Violet Gin – I have a parma violet addiction. Oh come on, don’t look at me like that. I know this is one of those you either love or hate type of favours but I LOVE EATING THIS FLAVOUR I WANT TO DRINK IT TOO.
Tell me, what the best gin you’ve ever tried?
I have the Zymurgorium Sweet Violet Gin. It really is as beautiful as it sounds
Haha I literally know nothing about gins so this was really useful 🙂 I’d try the sweet violet one!
Scent of Summer
I’m not a big gin fan . . . however I am also a massive Parma Violet fan!
The Yorkshire Tea gin is my absolute favourite – but the violet one sounds pretty special!
