A weekend in Whitby

A weekend in Whitby

Hello everyone. Hope you all had a lovely weekend. I’ve just got home from spending the weekend in Whitby and wanted to share some photos I took.

I didn’t manage to take many photos as my boyfriends Mum has just got a cottage there that is being re-done for a holiday home and we spent most of Saturday pulling out nails and pulling off plaster. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much dust in my life!

On Friday night we went out for an Italian. It was just my boyfriend and I. The place was called Cosa Nostra and I got a seafood dish that was full of mussels, prawns, salmon, squid and haddock. It was very filling, I left a lot and even my boyfriend couldn’t finish what I had left. The service wasn’t great though but the food was lovely. We even went back the next night when my boyfriends family were there. I had the steak which is what I almost had the night before.

Anyway, here are the photos, hope you enjoy.

Whitby is such a fab place! We went for the day a year or so ago whilst staying nearby in Pocklington and had the best time! We got great weather and the BEST fish and chips ever!

Such lovely pictures. I haven’t been to Whitby for years! All I remember is the car park with a lot of steps up to it

I love that this place is on my doorstep. However, we actually don’t visit as much as we should!
And if you didn’t do the 199 steps to the abbey then you didn’t visit.lol
It’s not somewhere I’ve ever eaten at in. We day trip there and so just grab fish and chips on the harbour. I’m sure there’s some real hidden gems of places!
