I’m lucky in that I don’t have much of a sweet tooth, so I can be pretty reserved when there’s a box of chocolates on the side. That’s not to say I don’t enjoy chocolate because I do. I just prefer richer chocolate that you might just have one or two of and then put the box away for another day.
Willies Cacao Black Pearls were the product of the month in the December Degustabox. And I can see why.
The range comes in two flavours:
- Sea Salt Caramel in fruity Chulucana’s 70 dark chocolate
- Passion Fruit Caramel in Rio Caribe 44 milk chocolate
Both made 100% from the best raw materials, making this a rich treat you can indulge in and not feel guilty about.
Willie’s chocolate is all about flavour, which is why only the World’s Great Single Estate Cacao’s bought directly from farmers and used. He says the beans are like fine wines, tasting different. From nutty flavours, to spicy and fruity.
He makes chocolate in small batches in his factory in Devon, taking up to 21 days. This is longer than industrial chocolates that are pumped out in mass.
You can really taste the difference and these would make a great gift to any chocolate lover.
You are very lucky that you don’t have a sweet tooth. These look yummy Lucy x
