When I first tried this, I expected it to be a face peel mask. But it’s not. It’s actually a scrub. FACE SCRUB. WHY IS IT CALLED FACE PEELING???

The full name is ‘Moisturising Peeling Face Scrub’ but I have no idea why that’s not on the packaging.

Anyway, this SCRUB from NAOBAY (which stands for Natural And Organic Beauty And You) is infused with natural peeling particles from the Acai palm tree. It gently exfoliates your skin and eliminates dead skin cells and purities. This gives you smoother and more refined skin texture.

It contains Olive Oil, Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil and Gotu Cola Extract. This smoothes, replenishes and moisturises your skin which is basically the same key words that all skincare brands use so I’m not sure what makes this stand out from the rest.

Can we get a bit of innovation, please?

The wonderful thing is that 98.82% of the ingredients are of natural origin and NAOBAY do not test on animals.

Ingredients:

Aqua, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice*, Olea Europaea Fruit Oil*, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter*, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Methylglucose Sesquistearate, Propanediol, Glyceryl Stearate, Prunus Amygdalus Dolcis Oil*, Euterpe Oleracea Pulp Powder*, Glycerin, Benzyl Alcohol, Dehydroacetic Acid, Parfum, Centella Asiatica Extract*, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Citral, D-Limonene, Geraniol, Linalool. * Ingredients from organic farming.

I’d say this product is pretty average as a scrub.

I think the low point was when the wooden part of the lid came off after it was sat by the bath for a couple weeks.

It’s around £14 and I think it’s probably a tad overpriced for what it does.
