I think back to that time 5 years ago when I first started blogging. I was basically copying my friend because it looked cool. I’d blogged in the past, back in the Xanga and Livejournal days but that was more of a way to vent my teenage angst rather than try and put a message out there and share things about my life.
Starting a blog from nothing is fun. I didn’t know anything so there wasn’t really any pressure to blog a certain way or have a set theme.
This was back in the day of Google Friend Connect and before Instagram was really used. It was simpler then and being naive to things was nice. But it did slow my progress in those first few months.
